QUOTE(WyLuxx @ Sep 5 2008, 10:55 AM) just made a discovery last night. if you use today 2 as your today screen, if u tap on the phonebook icon on the top, you would be presented with 9 of boxes in a 3x3 array where most of us have put pics of our most-frequent contacts. Great contribution if you use your finger to slide the screen upwards, you will discover that in fact, the 'contacts array' is actually 9x3. making a total of 27 contacts in the phonebook. only 9 out of 27 would be visible at any time. |

Hey guys, got a question here. Is it not good if I plug on the car charger when I'm using GPS? Will that spoil my battery?

QUOTE(Sd-RawK-Cab25 @ Sep 8 2008, 06:08 PM) hi all, Hahaha...quickly buy it and join us as Omnians!!! The community is growing. Its a great sign!! i've been cruising through the 50+ pages of this thread and it seems you guys are loving the omnia. i just got poisoned by my cousin..he's from sg, and already bought omnia. immediately fell in love with it. just wondering, which one is better: buy 8gb for cheaper price and upgrade with sd card later, or buy 16gb straight? considering that i may be on a tight budget and cannot spend too much on the phone this time round. oh, and when i do get myself this phone..looks like i have to read a lot on installing and upgrading firmware...never had a PDA phone before! thanks guys and girls! Anyways, I suggest you to get the 16GB model if you're a heavy movie loader. Because the external slot will eat up additional batt power (I heard not sure how true. Pls don't flame me.) Hahaha... |

QUOTE(kennexionz @ Sep 9 2008, 07:06 PM) I just updated my FW from G4 to H3...My battery usage before this when I was in G4 is 2 full days. The charge issue is a bug. It won't go full bar. After updated to H3, this problem is solved. Today I used my phone till around 3pm I updated it to H3. Till now, batt left 3 bars. I charge it from last night till this morning 8am.After updated I sync my phone and also reinstall Garmin and use the GPS for a moment, play some videos and songs and also snap some pictures. See now whether the phone can last me till tomorrow night or maybe longer. For those ppl who manage to use their phone for 3 full days, do you always snap pictures? Three new things I discover from the H3 compared to G4. 1. When you type SMS, there's a character counter on the top left corner 2. There's this new program called Connected Home. Not sure what it is but my friend's Sony Vaio laptop has the same logo stated DLNA certifed. 3. The finger flick scrolling is smoother now. |

QUOTE(02mini @ Sep 9 2008, 07:26 PM) hey anynine.. for this discovery 1. When you type SMS, there's a character counter on the top left corner, my current ROM G2 already has it Haha...I wonder why my G4 doesn't have it. And one more thing. I realised that my auto complete isn't working in SMS even though I did a soft reset. And I'm antnine, not anynine... This post has been edited by antnine: Sep 9 2008, 09:05 PM |

both N95 and omnia can't be compared...the reason because both are different categories...
