acceleration can be either slow or fast, depend on how you ever care about the throttle......I not really whack the engine since it had a puny, small valve which can be crushed if you always pull the engine to the limit....
but mostly when TD,I pushed it quite a times to have a good top end at the straight which I preferly said it takes around 5 seconds for 0-100 if the bike pushed hard at first 3 gear(around 10k-13k) yes no doubt it quite hard to maintain especially if you always rev it high in order to have more torque, but I has use the bike for 4 years now & with simple maintainences like oil changes, oil filter, valve checkup & clearence...I can say the bike has a good engine for smaller I4,F1 like replica for street...trashed in TD,street, top speed run, climbing a steep uphill road(since it was my house territory) but still depend on how much you take care of the bike.....even my last run with the bike before stooopid driver make me accident & damaged the bike,it still can hit 200km/h easily....& the milleage clocked at 98,500+ km..... |

QUOTE(mozact89 @ Aug 26 2009, 01:16 AM) do u all know about this?? Power-to-weight ratio rule!! Ninja 250R speed 140kmh, ZXR2 160kmh. ninja 250R speed 160kmh ZXR2 187kmh, ninja 250R speed 180kmh ZXR2 210kmh ninja 250R speed 185kmh ZXR2 225kmh ![]() have seen City modded with mugen bodywork with full black colour & mugen stripes chasing RS250 today at MRR2.... But as far as I know,ZX2R(Inline 4 model) are lot faster.....reaching almost 190 km/h with GPS reading.....thats is far more than the new 250R.... as the user myself I have tried it alot of time with the owner of 250R & ZZR250,be on track or convoy.....& that was no surprise behind it as the ZX2R got more cylinder for better revving & top end, sumthing which 250R didnt have, but honestly the low end torque & city riding,I choose the new 250R anyway...... |

QUOTE(Cyprid Dark ii @ Aug 26 2009, 02:57 AM) Power-to-weight ratio rule!! new ninja250r is not for racing n not fast enough to beat zxr.. it is suitable for beginer... the top speed ony can go around 160kmh-170kmh for stock model.. but many of my friend can go to 180-185kmh by changing the exhaust system, air filter, and dynojet kit.. but u can compare the speed with other vehicle with my review...have seen City modded with mugen bodywork with full black colour & mugen stripes chasing RS250 today at MRR2....
