Get the N85 is you prioritize on camera and video quality. The rest of the features are similar and on par. If you like big touchable screen, then Nokia 5800 is a good start.
*
Actually n85 is much better den 5800 as 5800 has a lot of problems/bugs if you survey. That's why 5800 price is so low now...compared to last time..diff just 100-200 i think...last i heard zitron is rm1300..almost 600 diff there now

i bought mine somewhere on the 26/27 of december.. cant reali remember.. at rm 1550 from lowyat plaza.. i think the price should decrease by now..anyway tat time, i did survey many shops.. some quote 1500.. some quote 1550, 1620 and so on.. some even like you said.. more than rm 1.7k.. well, i juz choose the shop by looking at the shop condition? hehe..
*
oh then how much did you bought your phone for?
is sg.wang offering cheaper phone than lowyat plaza??

the shop you survey is like those stall/kiosk type or really a shop lot in lowyat plaza? coz i assume those real shoplot will charge higher price..

It seem like N85 is a much stable platform compared to other unlucky forumers who bought 5800 or N96.

Nope, it doesn't work yet. But high chance Garmin will release a compatible version since N97 is coming out soon. Maybe not now because there are no reasons to support just one phone, definitely when N97 is released.

Anyway the 5800's screen is also poor in terms of sunlight legibility, just the same as N85's OLED screen. Actually 5800's screen is pretty good and the contrast is high enough. I would say N85 only small tad better than it. Reason is because N85's screen can be overly WARM and not natural.

I am user of 5800 and N85. I would say each phone has their goodness.

I got my n85 from singapore 2 months old at RM1200 only. Full set with warranty (by Nokia Singapore) and all the extra not used. Still get one free Ngage game.

I would say both phone are great phone. rclxms.gif
