Hi guys,

I'm newbie here . Currently using Asus P5Q Deluxe MB. The bios setting to overclock this machine is too complicated.
currently my cpu is E7200.

i have few question here.

1)Can i just overclock the cpu without touching the FSB?
2)Can i know wat is cpu gtl voltage reference(0/2)?
3)Can i know wat is cpu gtl voltage reference(1/3)?
4)Can i know wat is cpu pll voltage?

no lah... E7200 SPI times is inferior to E8xxx series... most also going 11s with maximum tweaks..

crazy voltage u have there..............

2 and 3. dont really know how to xplain cos i don really understand it either....its something to do with the VTT together...i heard its useful for quad-core OCing....but normally u don need to increase ur VTT unless u are doing over 500fsb for e7200....read here for understanding on GTL: http://www.edgeofstability.com/

4. do not touch that....heard that one will kill ur proc.....

why my multiplier at cpuz sometimes change to 6 n 9.5
how to make it stay at 9.5?

match7274 you use DDR3
why C2D logo in CPU-Z lost when you push to 500MHz?

its not DDR3 its a bug... mine also showing DDR3...

may i know the big different between SLAVN and SLAPC?
which 1 generate less heat n less vcore in Ocing?
and which one easy to hit 4.0Ghz?

its ddr2..as icemocha said its bug
i disabled Multicore Computing under CPU section for single core which more stable to push over 500mhz+

@sany1424: china site says SLAVN is retail pack(includes box, minisink, book, sticker), SLAPC is OEM pack(processor only).

went to pc shop, lot of them selling SLAPC and the box is smaller...
i wonder whats the different....
