Another frustration, im using cook rom dutty v2.8 and i encounter very simple clock issue. I cant seem to set to 12 HR format like what i can easily did with my old HTC touch. It wont show the AM/PM as well and it is 24HRs format. Im wondering issit something to do with cook ROM?

yeah, just enable the assisted gps function in ur adv conf tools program.

Garmin XT does not show any bar until you get GPS lock. Make sure you selected Serial GPS--> COM 4. Then wait as long as the PDA needs.

To change the time format, change your regional settings to US. Different country have different format and it cannot be altered.

Btw, please use A-GPS with caution. If you notice garmin losing satellite reception every few seconds, that simply means A-GPS doesn't work for your system configuration.

which version u using ? mine is 5.00.20w, and it shows bars eventhough not yet get GPS lock.
this is with my d810.

I installed the same version, same map in both my d810 and diamond.
d810 getting bars and could lock in less than 1 minute if outdoors.
diamond, no response at all, no matter indoor outdoor. no bars no nothing.

any experts mind showing me the rite way of doing it?
is it possible I did anything wrong during my installation?
but I tried it wif mapking, no response also...

TQ mengsuan. Tried my gps today outdoor inside my car, gps lockdown in less than 20 secs, pretty fast. I off the A-gps btw.

are you sure you dont get any bars? because i just tried my GPS a few seconds ago and it still works . Maybe your diamond has a glitch in it , Try taking it to SIS to have a look .or even better change the whole unit ^^ if there really is a problem la -.-" dont go change for fun

No bro , HTC diamond comes with a built in 4GB memory , nothing more nothing less . Not sure about the Touch though . Certainly 4GB sounds nicer and is better than 1GB xD but i dont know if the touch can add a micro SD card .

@yeahh : im using a budge sp atm XD but i think my XDAII mini casing fits nicely for my diamond because of the extended batt become fat like my O2 liao hehe .. maybe u can try using ur old PDA pouch like i did save money! RECESSION! hehe

lol. It is quite an overkill. It is advised not to use anything over the invisibleSHIELD as it will either damage it after prolonged use or it will be super hard to take it out ( invisibleSHIELD adds grip )

Which Touch are you refering to? Touch Diamond has no memory slots.

hmm seems like ive got a problem here ... i switch on the bluetooth

then settings>add new device>

but cant seem to find my bluetooth headset ... using a sony ericsson bluetooth headset here
