hey guys... want to ask, is the guitar hero controller usable @ pc? Any model, i mean, or is it specific to a certain model(s)?

Thinking of buying a GH Metallica controller for xbox and use it for GH3 instead @ my pc, simply bcoz it looks awesome... LOL

Maybe it'll work with MS wireless receiver like an Xbox360 wireless controller? As far as i know...GH 2 guitar can use with PC because of the wired connection.

My bro was using the GH:WT xbox360 controller with GH3 on pc with the wireless receiver.

RB controller is not directly compatible though.

GH3 PC is basically just a direct port of GH3 360.
If anything works/doesn't work on 360,it'll do the same on PC without the use of any hacks.

OH BY THE WAY WHAT SETTINGS ARE YOU RUNNING IT FROM WHAT IS THE FRAMERATE DID YOU KNOW GH3 IS MORE DEMANDING THAN CRYSIS(I wish I were shitting you)

Personally, i only played the first 30 secs of hit me with your best shot before failing out due to not having my own wireless receiver and using the RB1 strat. But GH3 seemed to be running fine at 1920x1200 on a 512mb 8800gts and a Q6600. I think the later patches resolved the performance issues - i think i'm patched up to 1.31. Or maybe its because I've not reached the Crysis jungle venue

The Metallica is wireless, so you're need the wireless receiver to use on your pc. It's the same plastic guitar as the GHWT one - the only difference being the skull graphics so yes you should be able to use on the pc.

Gah how I wish I could play GH3 or Crysis.
GH3 runs at 60fps,only on everything low,and there is intense input lag.
And Crysis doesn't run,full stop.
