My bro was using the GH:WT xbox360 controller with GH3 on pc with the wireless receiver.

RB controller is not directly compatible though.

Personally, i only played the first 30 secs of hit me with your best shot before failing out due to not having my own wireless receiver and using the RB1 strat. But GH3 seemed to be running fine at 1920x1200 on a 512mb 8800gts and a Q6600. I think the later patches resolved the performance issues - i think i'm patched up to 1.31. Or maybe its because I've not reached the Crysis jungle venue

The Metallica is wireless, so you're need the wireless receiver to use on your pc. It's the same plastic guitar as the GHWT one - the only difference being the skull graphics so yes you should be able to use on the pc.
