right, for long term dividend play, u gotta be patient n wait for chance to buy.

and when the chance comes, u must not hesitate! biggrin.gif

i was very fortunate to have picked up some Tenaga in mid 2022 when it went <8.

it's now 11.30 + dividends. good to keep forever. laugh.gif

I was late too in SUNREIT... average price is 1.534 and PBB is 3.952...due to maturity and exit out of poor performing fund... so added at what I thought was a reasonable price... but paper loss was actually alot after the PBB founder expiry... ( i topped up a lot in PBB pre that incident).

Thanks for sharing.

Maybank is unstoppable now, kudos for another 52W high at 9.63; sky is the limit look like it. Need a lot of patience waiting for the next black swan events or the next correction, if it ever comes.

PBB everyday like roller coaster, yesterday huge volume pulling it down to 4.30 in last 10 mins. Today the huge volume pushed it back up to 4.32 in the last 10mins, up from the lowest of 4.25 in the morning. With the recent QR -5.7% profit, the 4.26 should be the expected reasonable discount from 52W High of 4.52. But with the coming 10 cents dividend, think the current price still has room till 4.36 to play.

No matter what, am sitting back eating popcorn, let's see when the party ends for Bursa, then it's time to go hunting for bargain again.

i was watching today too... biggrin.gif

almost added maybank when it went to 9.51. hope some of u did!

i got distracted by Tenaga's volatility due to majors dumping and buying again as a result of the "bad" news 2 days ago - perak manjung turbine woes ++... pretty good as it recovered to 11.16 at closing.

public... i gave up, dumped last holdings, said bye. dry.gif

now looking at plantations... see if any woorth considering as long term dividend counters... biodiesel demand vs EU ban..??

Have you guys receive the dividen payout? I not that familiar with the local div payout.

I see the date from the website, Declare is on 28/2, ex date is 13/3 and payout is 26/3.

So the trade acc should already have the div in it ?

No nothing. Check both trade acc and saving acc. Both are maybank. Not even got float.

I remember last time all the REIT will bank into the trade acc and able to see.

I google Direct and nominee, it should be Nominee CDS.

PBB using ancient system with old people all at the top of management. How are they going to compete with banks that use newer technology such as website? Mobile apps etc?

Don't believe me just try use their bank portal app, try buy PBB mutual fund, borrow loan with them and see how inconvenient they are.

If they don't evolve and improve competition will only gobble them up. It's the reality.
