Green Packet shares surge 14.3% on govt plan to implement multi-lane free flow at toll plazas

Green Packet Bhd shares were up in the morning session on Friday (March 24), gaining 14.29% or half a sen, on the back of the Ministry of Works' announcement to allocate RM3.46 billion for the implementation of the multi-lane free flow (MLFF) toll collection system by 2025 to overcome and reduce congestion on highways, especially at toll plazas.

In 2021, Green Packet said that together with FETC International Co, it will run the country’s first-ever MLFF tolling system proof of concept (POC) on Malaysian highways.
