that mr.metal series all buffable and can come off easily.
worse thing is i had it scratch on the white armor (actually not scratch, just touch only).

if topcoat oso cannot help, then no choice lor.
remove with mr.thinner dap in cotton but, slowly rub off then re-prime again lor..
now i only use it to paint/highlight certain rivets or pistons.. bad idea to use on large area.. sure kena one.. prime no prime still will tanggal one..

I think for Mr.Metal Color there's a special primer called Mr.Base Metal or something right? Looks like silver when you spray it. Don't know if it helps the metal color paint stick.

Mr Metal Primer is to prime METAL surfaces, so that when u paint on metal surfaces the paint wont come off easily. smile.gif

hmm have a question... will paints dry up if they are left too long in the bottle ? Cause i havent painted a gundam kit in like 6 months.... and all my equipment i left in the store room, kept in a box. Will it damage the paint / air brush in any way ?

I can answer your third...

Ok now if you don't want to get an airbrush, i assume you're going to hand paint your kit. ( in the case of using markers for the entire kit, i dont really recommend that since its very difficult to get an even coat on your model with markers, and the color choices are limited ) I dont recommend using spraycans cause that will kill your wallet.

Most modellers here start with handpainting and its a good way to experiment with the many types of paints available, and also paint composition etc.

I usually hand paint using Mr. Hobby's lacquer paints, since its easy to control the paint drying times, so you dont get any visible brushmarks.

You CAN do a good job with handpainting, but it takes ALOT of time to wait for the paint to dry (im talking about lacquer ), takes alot of practising to get it right and you CANNOT do shading effects ... unlike airbrushing. So basically what im trying to say is that airbrushing is much more convenient and a better long-term investment... Im currently using tamiya's most basic airbrush kit... It has a single action airbrush, a very light compressor that i can carry around easily, and a large enough paint cup. Does the job pretty well... and its cheap. smile.gif

When youre at that level where you want to join the BAKUC, the airbrush is your best friend.... smile.gif
