jason can i know hw u train u toro...my pluto have his own characteristic...onli learn sit,hand,up,turn,onli....nw i teach other new tricks he dun wan to learn liao... my pluto oso will bite my hand n leg,when i sleep he dun wan to sleep n keep kacau me...he veli clever 2 day aft come to my house he oledi know pee n poo on the new paper...nw he like he will go newpaper dun like then poo n pee at the floor... i last tiem thought veli dark he cant find newpaper tat place then i switch on a small light he still like tat...

Just like me ms... now he don't want to pee and poo on the newspaper.. but at least he will pee and poo inside the cage.... but still too early to say 'cause he is just 3 weeks with me... so still need to train him... about the trick like turn... how you guys train?

maybe you can try to put newspaper in the cage and not the tray underneath the cage..liddat you ms will know that he needs to pee and poo on the newspaper..
then when she get use to pee and poo on the newspaper.you make the area smaller and smaller (until the suitable area)..
then maybe you can place the cage in the toilet area (the place where you wan her to pee and poo) then slowly try take away the cage from her sight, and leave the newspaper where you usually leave the cage..

was thinking to put newspaper inside the cage but afraid that he will steps on the pee and poo...that's why i didn't do it...

umm...no dogs will purposely step on it de..
but there's alwayz chance that ter-kena...but..
newspaper train..this will frequently happen if your puppy pee a lot..
and not little by litte..
this is because the folded area of the news paper cause it to be uneven, causing the pee to slide...
umm..
maybe, but this will be rather 'ma fan'..
you can cut the newspaper in half..so it's flat..
then wun kena dee..

Now he seems doesn't like to pee and poo on the newspaper d... i take him into the toilet where the newspaper is.... he will just bite the newspaper.. sometime when i didn't monitor him.. he will take the newspaper out from toilet and bring it to the cage...
Now i even bought the toilet train spraying thingy.. but still the same
whenever he wants to pee or poo.. he will run back to the cage and do it there... but sometimes if i noticed.. i will straight carry him to the toilet..and he got no choice but to poo there....

aiyak.. LOL I also failed to teach my Miki to do on newspaper because she just loves to chew the newspaper, end up we get her do biz in the toilet, just on the toilet floor instead. And when I trained her that time, she also suka suka go back cage to poo... so I end up keep away the cage LOL.. but after she was trained, she won't poo in the cage dy. Be consistent with your training lor..

during the first week when my puppy come, also same thing happen...
she die oso wun pee and poo on the newspaper..==
one mistake i did was to let her run about in my room when i'm away to college coz i thought locking her in my toilet while i was away was kinda torturing..
but no, if she makes a lot of mistakes when i'm away..she'll never learn..
so, locking her in is just temporary..at least the toilet is better than the cage..
anyways, what i did was..since i had a week holiday..i had the chance to monitor her very closely..
and ask her to follow me to the toilet whenever she shows signs of wanting to go to the toilet.. (best to ask her to follow you and not carry her there, coz it'll be a habit..and she'll be training you to carry her to the toilet nxt time..) then i place her on aquite a large area of newspaper (later only slowly make the area smaller and smaller) and i'll use my hands to block her from going away from the newspape..then after she finsih doing her business, i'll praise her..and give her a treat.. (i used to, but nw no more..i just praise her..coz i noticed that sometimes when i will "lei em chit" take out treat for her...and it's like she'll only do it with treats.. ><..that's why i decided to stop and only give her treats very very very randomly)
after she learn to pee and poo in my room's toilet, on the newpaper..everytime i leave for college, i'll lock her in the toilet..
coz wat i experienced is that she still simply poo and pee when i'm not around..then make my whole room stink like crazy..
so after i leave her in the toilet for a few days when i'm away and when i can't watch her..she finally learns that she will need to go to the toilet..
then now..i can fong sam let her stay in my room and roam around even when i;m not watching her..
yes. my puppy will also tear the newspapers in the toilet..
but not those that she pee and poo on..i guess is natural instincts to not play with their excretions... =)
she only bite and chew on the ones i place at the side..
she only bites when i left her too long in the toilet..maybe too sien..
coz i go college for long hours..cant help..
when i'm around..she wun destroy anything..coz already taught..
so dun worry..you just need to teach her that she is only allowed to play and bite the toys to bought for her..then can dee..
but you have to accept that when left alone for too long..they'll eventually find their own games to play..

but ya..this is my first time house training puppy too though i have one more dog..(golden retriever..but he does it in the garden..and he's super smart..coz since puppy..he never once pee and poo on floor or the porch..he only goes to the garden...even as puppy he already know how to tahan pee pee when in the house..not like my ms now..she cnot tahan means cnot tahan..><)
still got a lot to learn..
this is just my experience from this puppy

Ya,need patient.. my pluto c mood 1.i c him pee or poo on the floor i go n bring him to the newpaper,then he stop n dun wan pee n poo oledi. he wont pee n poo in the cage except i close it in the cage while i working.tricks i actually nt really train him..jz teach him to do few times n he get it and wan his treats.but hor .nw when i teach him new things he keep on do hand hand. headache. jason d toro so clever and good boy.jz teach me some way to teach him tricks...

dogs need a comfortable place to pee and poo on,maybe they hate the smell of newspaper?
my bobo is trained 2 pee poo in toilet 1,but she doesn't wan2 go inside if the lights turn off and the floor is wet.

Finally can bath her dee..
beh tahan..coz i bath her 2 days before her vaccination..
then 7 days after vac. cannot bath..
wahh..
really cannot tahan..hee..
so since today need to bath her i brought her out to my garden to play with my Golden Retriver..
the garden so wet...make her sooo dirty
but finally she's squeky clean

i only train toro lik tat la.....treat method....give treat to him once he did it correctly....thn i will scold him if he did something wrong....

l0l my 1 pee in the toilet for once niania.. then i give her treat.. but until now stil pee in the cage.. aihhh
