who and where is she located? i got to say that the SS2 shop groomers have changed and they are not as good anymore.

i have been feeding this amount for the past years. 50g in the morning, and 75g in the evening.

hi larryho, is Casper cured from this? i am glad you shared this cos i won't be surprised if Buffy is suffering from something very similar.

well, i hope you do a great job looking after them....frankly, i don't pretend to know why the owner "is not keen anymore" but that i think that's just wrong. how can one day you become "not keen" to keep your dogs...

Latest Pic of Buffy and Sparky (taken today).

Buffy's fur is getting long and probably due for grooming soon again. I kinda am not very impressed with Seapark groomers anymore so may switch to Puppy Cottage in TTDI.

But we are still treating Buffy's skin issues with medication so hopefully her skin continues to get better.

wzseow, if snowball is between 7 to 9 kg, then i feel the weight is about normal.

pennywise, marquis is looking awesome! buffy's condition is getting better but we see Dr Sia every 2 weeks for checkup and medication. the front part of her never had problems, it is her lower half that is a bit botak (now growing hair already) as she is itchy and bites the fur. last check up with Dr Sia showed that there is some signs of Malassezia....

yeah, Malassezia seems to be the same as larryho's casper. the treatment plan for Buffy quite tedious...medications everyday. shampooing with malaseb etc...

let me clarify. the westie that has alleged skin problems and suspected malassezia is NOT from overseas. it happens to be the one bought from Ipoh. my thailand westie has no skin problems whatsoever...

to be honest, i think it depends on the dog. Buffy loves anything crunchy...

here is my experience with Sparky:

when we first got him, he would be picky about food and take his time to eat. sometimes won't touch the food, and then we removed it. then he gets hungry and vomits bile.

then we tried leaving the food around and he would sometimes eat his breakfast at 3pm in the afternoon and then spoiling his dinner feeding time. we tried adding Ceasar to his dry kibbles which helped a bit but ocassionally he will still refuse to eat.

it was not until we got Buffy (2nd dog in the house) which caused him to change his habit. he now waits to eat and rushes through his food. and my conclusion is that having the 2nd dog in the house created competition. if he ate slow, Buffy would finish first (she eats very fast) and then steal his food.

and both eat dog kibbles right out of the box without any additional "ingredients" or water...

bro, did you go back to SS2 for grooming?...i've changed to Puppy Cottage already.

puppy cottage in TTDI. but would love to find a good westie groomer nearer where I live.

i sympathize with you pennywise. one of the groomers at SS2 also 'spoilt' Sparky's look and that was enough for us to switch.

am heading to Puppy Cottage this Saturday afternoon. will try to take some pics for you after the grooming.
