QUOTE(Pennywise @ Apr 25 2009, 11:34 PM) ihawk98, i was there for Buffy. regular visit every 2 to 3 weeks to continue to monitor her skin rashes (if and when they appear). quite funny story, the reception lady, mrs chai was talking about you and your 3 westies and the japanese spitz.Yes, I was supposed to be there today to remove the stitches from Casper. I sent him for neutering about 2 weeks back. Not much time today so will only go next week. You were there for? Sparky / Buffy see vet? |

yes buffy runs faster than casper. and when we walk both of them together, she will maintain a pace that allows her to walk slightly ahead of him.

QUOTE(Pennywise @ May 4 2009, 02:21 PM) Looks like she's the dominant one and Sparky is the more calm dog, possibly due to maturity? she tries to be the alpha dog but sparky clearly is the dominant one in most things....although he is much calmer. My case different, Casper will dash out like a speeding bullet and very hard to catch him back. People say trust your dog and they will trust you. I trust him, he abuse. The other 2, ok. |

QUOTE(Jenn7912 @ Jul 31 2009, 02:49 PM) the next day when i got home from work, he bites again... but through out the day he was ok according to my mom... we brought him to the vet immediately... the vet didnt say wat cause his biting... even i asked him to check whether its due to flea/ticks but he can't give me an answer to tht.. Some more he said tht it might be due to neurological prob... something like OCD, where the dogs will keep chasing their tails because of bored/ not be able to express himself... Do you guys think tht its because of tht??? food allergy will differ between westies. my male westie Sparky seems to be allergic to chicken based kibbles so he has lamb and rice flavor from Nutro. my female westie Buffy is allergic to all and has to eat the Z/D prescription diet. One of my fren's fren said it shud be due to his diet when he looked at my dog... He recommended me to give him Vegetarian kibbles (Addiction's Zen Vege). Hope it improves his skin allergy.... Now i need to be very careful on food tht i give him and find out wat food is causing the allergy... Can you guys provide details on food tht your westies are allergy to?? So that i will avoid next time... Many thanks... |
