QUOTE(Penzman @ Jul 13 2008, 12:35 AM) FUEL IN SURFERS IS WRONG!!! BEWARE! yeah, its just over 5 liters, use 6 to be safe.rFactor setup menu indicates that 5 Litres = 1 lap. False!!! If you try leaving the pit with 5 laps of fuel only and try to make a single lap, you won t even complete that lap, just short. mara : the last part really happened at our league race at zandvoort, luckily i finished the race and scored some points |

advocado :
Question 1 : we had a few article on this : http://forum.malaysiansimracers.com/viewtopic.php?t=10 and http://forum.malaysiansimracers.com/viewtopic.php?t=566 Question 2 : we are playing mods most of the time and we're running Champcar mod currently. If you want to race with equal powered car, then you have to race in the same class as the AI. Question 3 : Do you mean the Pit Lane Speed Limiter, AFAIK there's no way to disable it. advocado :
- For the rotation of the wheels, wether its 200 or 900 degrees; it depends on what mod you are currently driving. Open wheeler such as F3 or F1 - usually we use max 200 degrees. For tin tops such as GT or touring cars we usually use 900 degrees. About wearing the wheel if using 900 degrees, IMHO theres no such things because my DFP is still going strong after 5 years. - Force feedback at -100% = full FFB (funny thing FFB is - axis sensitivity - 0 % less sensitive, 100 % most sensitive - deadzone - the amount of travel before it register an input - that's the auto FPS (Frames Per Seconds IINM) - usually if you want the game to automatically adjust the visual settings to a specified FPS. |

You'll get a black flag (DQ) if you drive the wrong way on the track.

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Jul 21 2008, 12:05 AM) I think what he means is changing the pit strat (fuel amount) during the race. Parc ferme don't allow you to. I had to pit very early...and needed to change my fuel amount for the next pit. But the parc ferme didn't let me do that. You said before that the safety car is suppose to "mix and add an extra factor to pit strategy". With parc ferme freezing the fuel setup for 2nd and 3rd pit...safety car is pointless now. i didnt know that, because i never qualify so i freely change it. let the admins look into it (plus the whinnings)This post has been edited by evoHahn: Jul 21 2008, 12:12 AM |

QUOTE(sober07 @ Jul 21 2008, 01:27 AM) lol, i would advise you not to do that - since starting at the back is dangerous also. What i've learn with 3 season of playing open wheel is before the light went green, you have to set your mind which way you wanna go - right or left.cyborg : nice vid |
