The bus frequency sucks, walk is faster. I hope SBS will improve on this bus frequency!

I can understand staying in JB to save on hotel costs but staying in JB to save on parking costs is a bit extreme considering the amount of time you spend going in and out compared to the money you save.

Ya ke? And how much are we talking about?

...I drove there for the laksa..If you ask me to take MRT, I dun think I want to do that bcos need atleast 1KM walking from Tanah merah MRT or 1.5 KM from Bedok MRT station. Nothing much in Bedok. Just another boring normal Singapore HDB flats & small township..worst than Ang Mo kio & even Tempinis.. Atleast Tempinis having Ikea, Courts & Giant Hyper in one complex  biggrin.gif

Bro, no feeder bus?

Hello, I would like to ask everyone of you who drove their car from Malaysia to Singapore before. I am planning to drive into singapore this CNY.
*
If you are not familiar with the roads in Singapore, do get a person who is beside you or a good GPS.

Do check with the hotel you are staying and see if guest have to pay for parking or not?

taking MRT from Little India to Changi Airport, how long would it take?
*
Depends on the time of the day. Better you check with the MRT people there and give 20 minutes more.

If you have budget below MYR400 per night, then you can try Hotel 1929. The nearest MRT station is Chinatown and Outram Park.

I was rather disappointed by the prices of gadgets in Sg from my visit last weekend.
Maybe it was due to the higher currency exchange rate.

Usually where you guys go to buy your gadgets (eg. hp, computer accessories)?

on the outskirts of Sinkapo city.

*
Here is their website for HDB Parking. http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10327p.nsf/w/...rd?OpenDocument
If you need to pay night parking do make prior arrangements for the coupons as they dun sell by pieces but by booklet!

I did park at HDB lots before, on severals night I didn't have enough and didn't display any. Didn't get any fine, maybe I'm lucky or they see my Penang registration laugh.gif

Tony Romas is kinda different compare to Malaysia i suppose.
will probably give it a try for this. There's also a very good Western food at this bugis street. kind of popular with younger crowds.. i think its a german restaurant. the beer sound germans too. what's the name?

was thinking if singapore have special homemade foods turning into good business like penang tau sar pneah.
*
Tony Romas IS different from the one in Malaysia!
Or you may also want to experience HOoters!

singapore special homemade foods that I like is their carrot cake. I guess it goes well with the super sweet chilli sauce.

One thing about sinkapo is their drink not sweet but their food and chilli sauce is damn sweet.

*
What kind of creature? Your pet cricket?
But do note:
All dogs and cats and personal pets imported into Singapore are required to be kept in quarantine for at least 30 days on arrival, unless they are imported from Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland or the UK, in which case there are no quarantine requirements.
