Talking about Teresa Teng, UMG Hong Kong and Taiwan have re-issued her albums in phases. The HK ones are a mini replica of the LP and quite cheap if you buy a few at a time. The website where you can see these is at YesAsia.. I suppose you flers all know where it is.
I've already got many of them and the remastering is quite good!. Not the very best compared to one particular re-issue, but still excellent. Compilations are value for money though!...your call.

I'd seen Chinese pressings of Norah Jones, at less than half the price. But I did not check out the quality.

If you're particular about buying western artists original label, then buy the legitimitate EU or US pressings.
I very much doubt China cd pressings of western artists. I've seen too many fakes in the market, even China mainland artists. Lily Chen XRCD for RM25?... Telarc Round-up, Burmester CD for similar price...C'mon!..illogical isn't it? Of course there ARE originals among them imports.
P.S. Referring to China products...like I say...What will they think of next?...

Bonjour ....... The Chinese pressings are genuine copies. They are actually catered for the China market, but there are shops that parallel import them to give a price option.

Something to share and beware.

There is a local pressing Teresa Teng collection CDs similar to what piscesguy shown.

I just checked this CD at one of the local CD shops, though it stated marketed and distributed by Universal Music Ltd Hk, i read carefully further, it stated manufactured and printed in Malaysia, there is a sticker stated 3CDs for RM 46.70 (list price). However, it is sold at RM 33.90. There is no 'imported' sticker.

Be extra cautious and careful when buying CDs.

Not sure if these 2 albums by the great musician and poet Joni Mitchell have been recommended...

Blue is the quintessential album but Court & Spark finds her at her best. She's happy here.

hmm... does that mean that local production have a different or inferior quality compared to the imported ones?

Ex. those Eric Clapton and Il divo from Malaysia seen in front of Tower's records.
