i read that this thing just move the stuff from physical memory to virtual memory... so unless u run out of memory, u should not do tat as it will tax the performance...
*
WHat do you mean? wheres the virtual memory come from?

when u guys reach 100k and above opening more than 10 tab...does the size decrease if you close the tab?
*
The memory have been constant around 100-150MB, no more, no less.
This is after a few days usage, around 15-25 tabs open and around 9-10 Add-on

Very good improvement if compare to FF2 IMHO smile.gif

very true indeed... other improvement i see is... the start up speed... unlike FF2 which took me like 50 seconds -- i'm aware that i'm on more than 25 extension intalled, but on FF3 RC1, same extension (using Mr. Nightly Tester extension too), the start up is almost... instantly

the -ve i found...
some of plug in (media player especially...) seems not compatible or i-don't-know-for-sure but in FF2, the very same site can be viewed without any problem...

ok done already... it fixed thumbup.gif, thanks mate...
anyway, for those using Windows Server 2008, you'll get an error saying the OS is not supported... no worries, just apply the script (you know where) just like patching the games and imcompatible program brows.gif

yeah indeed... but for those who "lazy" to search where's the bookmark/profile... just use MozBackup... it's one hell a good software for backup include passwords, session manager, extension, themes and cookies too icon_idea.gif

Well, I won't say if it is better in Opera in term of performance or memory usage but the reason why a lots of people using FF compare to Opera is because of the add-on and all sorts of tweaks and trick to tweak the little foxy biggrin.gif It still can't beat the M$ IE dominance but it certainly have evolved into a very robust browser with the release of FF3 smile.gif

The addons are simply amazing, a few add-on that I would recommend:
1. NoScript - Best FF add-on, ever. I will never browse without this.
2. AdBlock Plus - Another great stuff. I have never seen any ads or atleast 90% of it since I started using it lol.
3. Tab Mix Plus
4. FlashGot
5. Foxmarks - Keep all your bookmark in one place. This is very useful if you have two computer and need to access the same Bookmarks. It will get your bookmark and sync it all the time, online. Very useful thumbup.gif

I also have 4chan, , Gmail notifier, Download Statusbar, StumbleUpon, IEtab, FoxyProxy and PDFDownload just in case anyone is interested

Sorry for going OT tongue.gif
