Only H-Line has the remote trunk function, you unlock the car first, only then you press the alarm button. You'll here a click from the trunk and the both indicator lights flashing twice.

This feature is not available for B/M-Line Persona

I always thought it was like a BMW/Merc/Volvo whereby the boot pops up by itself rclxub.gif I mean that'd be cool rclxm9.gif

Hi all. Been silently following this thread but finally decided to post something here.

I am a newbie in this thread but my B-line Persona has been in service since 1 year ago. nod.gif

So far no problem with the car except for two major things:

1. Left rear door lock button doesnt pop-up when unlocking - but its already solved.
2. Front disc brake bengkok (for some reason) - got it skimmed and its working fine now. (EON's SOP, it seems)

Bought the car from EON Sg. Besi and they suck big time in servicing the car. Too many tea breaks
and no-motivation foremen. Tried servicing at Proton Edar and they said due to past issues, PE doesnt
want to layan cars bought from EON. mad.gif Maybe this is my first Proton car so this issue may not be new.

Used to own an AD Resort before I get the Persona thus my nickname tongue.gif

Any TT, please inform me. It doesnt matter if we are in a club or not, small TT groups are also welcomed.

If anyone wants to ask, I am a Chinese but speaks fluent Malay. biggrin.gif

Future projects for my Persona will be bodykits, and maybe sell the car off. Anyone are allowed to ask me why smile.gif

I have went thru 1st 1k service, the car feel more power and lighter on low rpm, eg 0.5 rpm - 3k rpm.
But i feel the car have less power compare to last time when in 4-6k rpm
Is it before 1k service, i'm running on none-iafm, then when service they add on for me? As IAFM resolve the torque dip in 2k rpm, but overall power after 4k rpm will loose abit to none-iafm

No the alarm won't blast off, the remote trunk feature is only for the H-Line

Yea conventional yes, but it could be pretty handy sometimes when you're carrying loads of groceries and it's about to rain or something. As mentioned, better if it were to pop up like em posh cars

Yea you still gotta lift it up. I'm thinking of changing it to pop up by itself lol, and brighter lights as well. The Persona trunk lights are very dim!

BTW for everybody's info;

My 10,000km service for Persona, RM129.95 with change of;

1. Oil Filter
2. Gasket
3. Semi-syn motor oil

And I've finally got my rear brake lights fixed as the cabling inside was faulty!

i can answer you some questions
1-3) It is all the persona weakness i dont think that is problem, just take sometime to get used of it ! well cannot expect perfect for our national car.

4) The metal sound is is from your back seat something that connect behind your backseat making this funny sound, but i am not sure i is the right or not as mine one is M-Line and the back seat is foldable.
when i sent to SC the sifu just open the backseat and use stickytape to stick the the locking metal of the seat and after that i hear nothing from my back anymore

5) this one no in my problem list

A1. Do up balancing since it effect steering. The ususal RPM 2,800 only affect the pedal vibration.

A2. Likely the loose bundle cable. Can be solved.

A3. Not really ..its like that. Not indicator kaput but the neck is little longer. Different station have diffrent sizes of nozzle.

A4. This happen in all Persona. Problem still persist.

A5. Guess they have tighten the steering side, I suppose..not sure. Can be rectified.

Send to more realiable SC or else complaint to right channel.
