Everyone join the Swfit vs Persona forum, they're bad mouthing the persona for no reason giving silly reason why swift is better car than persona. i dunt think so, and you all can gladly join too in stating your argument against these sesat swifters.

Swift of course..........why even compare these 2 cars? One is a freakin ugly hatchback while the other one is Gen.2 sedan that doesnt "smoke". I prefer power.....thats too bad.

I drive a Persona (BL, not SE) and Im starting to like it, can bring ppl yumcha sometimes. tongue.gif

Why not compare the Swift to the VW Golf (or sum power-mongered GT-R) instead? Both are ugly anyway laugh.gif

I also have the interest to know about this too... Fellow Persona Owner...mind give more review/opinion since you guys have driven the car for quite sometimes
like KM/Liter. I loved the SE edition

just to refresh ur mind how to calculate KM/L >>>
example

RM100(fulltank)/RM2.45 = 40.8 Liter
Count from zero KM (Full tank) to Empty tank... let say 760KM

760KM/40.8Liter = 18.6KM/Liter <Wow..thats very the JIMAT... rclxm9.gif But of course this is just an example...
If driving averagely attitude with Persona and able to hit 13-15KM/L, this is a very good result lo...cuz my 1991 Saga 1.3 Manual manage to hit 14KM/L (never do "overhault" somemore got smoke from muffler) but of cuz drive at normal speed lo (80-100KM/H)

Bear in mind this calculation is a roughly figure only, cannot take as accurate figure due to different driving style, car load, car & road condition and lots more factors.

U guy's review might reflect other ppl decision! Do you know you are very important! rclxm9.gif

from full to empty is impossible lar bro... later need to tolak car laugh.gif
so full = rm75 (based on current rm2.45/L) which can go roughly 400km +/-
and the tank still got almost 1/7 of fuel i guess and result erm hmm.gif
.
.
.
= 13km/L doh.gif out of ur JIMAT requirement liao

bro, dont think you should compare between a MyVI and a Persona as they're from 2 different categories...apart from the almost similar price range
the MyVI is a Super Mini category while the Persona a Sedan...

like everything else in this world, you gotta give and take...

- MyVI smaller engine capacity (1.3 vs 1.6)
- Persona has MUCH larger bootspace and slightly more legroom

because of the larger size, definately the Persona has higher FC compared to MyVI especially for city driving but you have more space and more comfort...

i've driven my in-law's MyVI 1.3 Auto on highway before with full load (5 ppl with boot full) ... and i found that the pickup after dropping from 110km/h to 80 km/h and re-accelerating back to 110 km/h was TERRIBLE. i actually had to FLOOR the accelerator rclxub.gif

never had this problem with my Persona because of the engine capacity...in fact my last balik kampung trip had even more stuff in my boot...

so the real question you have to ask yourself is what kind of car you're looking for ? is it for family trips ? or just for you and your gf to go 'kai kai' in town ...

if FC is your main concern, then get a Viva ... or NGV car...
IMHO, all perodua cars are overpriced ... purely on the fact that they are small capacity engines n small footprint aka small cars whistling.gif

I'd say the same for the Swift Vs. Persona as well.

2 totally different categories of cars.

It's like comparing a Kancil and a Beemer

Beatlesalbum bro.... funny is those who bashed has never own or driven Persona but bash like hell.

For infor..Myvi GULP fuel while runs on highway. Gulps more then Persona. Persona FC on highway is good & better then this 1.3 L mini. but then City drive..Myvi FC beats Persona since its capacity is only 1.3.

Hey all Persona lover/owner,

I am planning to get one too, a High-Line Auto...

Somehow, I find that the package got something that I don't want and extremely unnecessary; GPS and Metallic Paint.

I wished to have a SOLID WHITE without the GPS thingy. I would have settled for a Medium-Line if it wasn't because of the ABS & EBD...I believe I can't fit those aftermarket.

Is that even possible for them to remove the GPS, use SOLID paint and trim down on the price? Because I believe those aren't really Goverment approved Standard Accessories anyway...

Go for the H-Line in White then. Red + White isn't in Metallic. The GPS is portable, and you can sell it off Ebay or Lelong or something. It's pretty lousy compared to other GPS devices
