Found it jor! Thanks ya biggrin.gif

Just for info it's front 210, back 190 biggrin.gif

BTW, FC report.

RM60 - 330km = 0.18

First pump not bad. Hope it gets lower after first service biggrin.gif

Tinted my car, rhinepro tint. biggrin.gif RM680 minus the voucher.
*
I went to tyre shop, tyre shop help me to reduce to 200 for front and rear, he said original too high pressure.

Anyway, the tint you said, never heard before? Is it a cheap tint? But price so high cannot consider cheap tint though...?

You see your tyre like not enough air wor like flat tyre if pump 200, i go tyre shop they pump 250 for me but i reduce to 230  rclxub.gif
*
Nope, 200 works just fine to me.

QUOTE(suiteng @ Jun 1 2008, 12:43 PM)
Ah... then I have to take note of it biggrin.gif The tint not really cheap but it's anti break wan.. the voucher only give this type of tint so I took it. Workmanship so so only, I saw a place where it's not smooth, gonna bring it back to the shop next week to get it fixed. It's done at cool world sri petaling.
Alamak memang high pressure rclxub.gif
*
I see. The SA offer me different brand, I can choose whatever I want. At first I was thinking to get cheap tint enough but scare later it will gives a lot of problem so at the end I choose branded one, Solar Gard, won't feel anything and it is anti-break tint also. I think it is worth the money because saw a lot of cheap tint will gives bubble or rust problem after some times.

ching,

my old iswara using normal tint but so far, no bubble/rust/fade.. I believe it depends on how you take care of your car and the workmanship..

3 years and no sign of problem on the tint
*
Some normal tint is alright but not much effect on the sun blocking and does not comes with anti-break feature. I don't think tinted need any special care on it except from those normal care. My friends all used cheap tint (RM200 or less), all gives problem after certain period of time.

actually is the workmanship of the worker affect the most, even u use branded tint like v-kool,if the workmanship is sux,the tint will still got prob,my family car all use us-cool,which is not dat branded, and yet no prob at all
*
Although workmanship is very important, I still believe in "what you pay is what you get", just the same like ICE, china brand is cheap but many people rather go for expensive brand like pioneer for durability and better after sale support.

0% down payment and 100% loan? dude, that's way not worth to do that, if not enough money just use whatever you have at the moment, no need to let bank to earn your easy money by loan 100% what.

u play with ur 1st and 2nd gear most of the time ar?its a short gear..i only dare to kick it up to 3k rpm every stroke..it hurts when i hear the engine sound vrooms up, as if the petrol is pumping in like drinking water.\

suiteng
actualy i was tinking when the last block of petrol sign reaches..it will be a fuel warning..how long will it last ler before a thorough insufficient fuel breakdown?i noe normal cars still can go 30minits to find the nearest petrol station..the fuel warning for blm is realy freaking me as its not a needle metre but electronic metre..no last minit detection.
*
I tried before, the warning light comes out, I drove for around 50km and the car still can go further. It is a 40L tank, everytime light outs go pump only able to pump 20+L, which mean there is at least 10L petrol left inside the tank. 10L can do more than 100km so no need to worry so much.

QUOTE(zenox0123 @ Jun 2 2008, 11:58 AM)
Both cases same with me.
btw is my FC too high? not yet 1st service.

Rm65(full tank) = 378 KM = RM 0.1719/KM hmm.gif
Manual M-Line, Medium footed but most of the time soft-footed, 40% city 20% highway 40% 'kampung road' due to earthwork along Jalan Tampin. Guess ching4ever from seremban rite?

btw, last saturday while driving suddenly my AirBag notification light up until i stop and restart my engine again. Is there any problem with the airbag? and should i tell the SC about it? hmm.gif
*
Mine FC average 0.14-0.16, will goes up to 0.17-0.18 if rev a lot of face heavy traffic jam.

So far for me, city drive really consume petrol a lot. But other than city, I think all other low FC cars are small car like kancil, kenari, savvy...even myvi also consume petrol during city drive so I guess it is normal. We need to bear with it as we do not have a good engine such as honda city.

shocking.gif  shocking.gif  35KM! when your fuel bar drops from 2nd last to the last bar and the "pump station" (dunno how to describe) notification light on and the last bar blinking wor?
Because that day i drove to Banting from Seremban using the Seremban-Sendayan-LBJ-Sepang-Banting road and in the before reaching Sepang F1 Circuit my fuel drop to 1st bar and start blinking and FYI those who never been to this road, it is very isolated from town and if your car happen to break down, God Bless You. But couldn't blame anyone except myself because is me who refuse to pump oil when I knew I have to drive that far, wanna test how far can my car goes  tongue.gif

So again, how far? 35KM?
*
FYI, my car start blink when I'm going back home from yam cha last time. I didn't care and the next day I drove up to cyberjaya to work. From my house to office, house-highway-nilai-klia-dengkil-cyberjaya, around 50km++. Then after work around 2-3km to petrol station, pump in around 60++ then stop by itself, so my guess is, it can still go for around 20-30km until the tank is fully empty. Because our tank is 40L, whenever it start to blink, go pump till stop is around 50++ only, that's mean the fuel tank still got like 10L+ left. Normally 6-8L/100km so it shouldn't break down until you go more than 100km, but of course rev, aircond, etc will cause more petrol, so around 70-80km after light blink is acceptable.

After light blink, I drove for more than 50km and it does not even pump in 35L so consider it still got petrol left. For a 40L tank, assume 5L will be use for other purpose.

Talking about reverse sensor on M-Line.

My reserve sensor sound too low and its only beeping once my car getting too near on another car and I can only hear the beeping sound when i completely idle unlike reserve sensor like Myvi. Izit only me who having such problem with the reverse sensor or M-Line reverse sensor is that soft and "undetectable"?  hmm.gif
*
Is it because you reverse too fast until the reverse sensor start working? Next time when you start reverse, just wait for a while first, it will start with a damn far distance.

Just want to know something, any way to block the outside smell to get into the car? Don't know why all local cars suck on this while toyota got no problem at all, no need to scare driving behind a lorry that put out black and smelly smoke. Is it need to change the filter or add something to block?

Im not sure if you pull to 2 to overtake car will destroy your engine or not.....???

let say you running at 90-100kmh, and you want to overtake using gear 2, i doubt the engine will 'pull' like hell...

same like manual car mah!!!!!

According to some article, it will damage the internal parts. I used to do it last time but saw the article online and a friend work in merz SC told me not to do that. Auto and manual is different, cannot use it as a same. I doubt it but since they are mech, I choose to believe them, when at traffic light, N + H-brake (because experience before the car flow back without my notice, chat too happily inside car with friend, got horn by behind kao kao).

i book my car on 1st feb with this proton outlet

Bold Mandate Sdn. Bhd.
38G & 1ST FLOOR, JALAN 9/23A, SETAPAK,

fr Mr Eric the salesperson there. He informend me on wednesday the car was available and i must to pay deposit immediately which i did on the next day.To my biggest dissapointment happen today after i forwarded him the car plate number slip that i get from JPJ this morning, i was being threaten that if i did not take my car by today, the will not be responsiblle anything thing happen to that car!!!He demand me to take the car on that instant moment.
I confronted with him saying i will onli collect the car on weekend. He refused. He suggested that i must drive back the car to my house with a tag on it? ...A test drive tag??what happend if there is an accident?
I reasoning with him saying that the road tax for this car was not even prepare yet, how could i drive the car on main road...It is called breaking the LAW?? rclxub.gif
during the purchase, Mr Eric promised to get the car would be in good condition when we collect it.

The thruth that i saw with my own eyes today is that, the car was driven 49km,mud was all over the wheel rim, sticker mark on windscreen with lots of dark coloured dust, scratches everywhere, stain mark on main driver seat, How could i torelate such ignorance that he told me that he just went to polish n wash the car...and told me that if i want to complain must complain to PROTON.

Eventually the Branch Manager Mr Tee came in,i told him what happen about the car condition,
I WOULD NEVER FORGET WHAT THE BRANCH MANAGER REPLIED TO ME.."THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO,ITS NOT MY BUSINESS" mad.gif ...and he walked away..such arrogant and irresponsible branch manager i have never seen.

I purchased a  vmad.gif RM40K PROTON BRANDED CAR from a irresponsible outlet that does not respect customer at all, to my biggest dissapointment, this would be the worst experience for me as a comsumer, i wish n hope this will not happen to our future proton owner.

there are many good proton outlet out there if u wan to buy a proton car and this is NOT THE ONE U WISH TO HAVE IT FROM.Believe me,if u were there at the outlet this morning, U WILL NEVER FORGET HOW ALL THE SA LOOK AT U at one corner of a table, AND DOESNT GIVE A d...mm.....especially the branch manager that walked away... vmad.gif
*
Then did you take the car? Don't take it then, report to higher level. He cannot force you to take the car, just wait for another batch, why must take it.

QUOTE(neverlog @ Jun 3 2008, 03:46 PM)

Added on June 3, 2008, 2:49 pm

i think ok la...last time wira was drove 80++km b4 i take the car...until now 240K km oso in good condition....
*
I won't accept the car if driven for more than 5km, it means they drive the car far away from somewhere else to the branch. For all the car that been drive to branch one, you can always see them rev it kao kao on highway.

At my living place, got a station which is quite near to my place. Another petrol station every day I finish work also will pass by one also got NGV station. So there will be 2 station to refill it, the problem is to reduce the petrol fees only not to say every time need to use gas, sometimes petrol is acceptable.

Honestly, if I were you I'll not accept the car no matter what he said. Will just report to higher level, manager don't care? Fine, get to higher manager, higher and higher till some head put in response. I have friend working in newspaper, if I were you for sure I'll get my friend to let everyone know about the branch about how they treat customer.

Car plate can be wait, down payment everything can be settle as long as you didn't sign for the paper and accept the car. I'll not settle it like i-care told, send to SC for repair? Damn...I buy a new car and need to send for repair not even start driving it? Hell no.

I believe maybe you are too kind, so they got the car damage and want you to accept the car.

QUOTE(runemastertan @ Jun 4 2008, 10:20 AM)
I have. But I bought my car from an old friend, so this does not happen to me. We(family and friends) have been buying car from him, and every time he keep to his promise, and i got extra rebate. I can say that the early or late arrival of the cars are not his fault, but he hasn;t been late in delivering the cars until now. No matter what is the reason, SA will get commission when we buy the car from him, and for this reason alone, the SA should not treat buyers like that. Because it is the cheapers car, SA treat you badly? No logic right? Rm40k is a big amount of money, regardless what you say. Not everyone can fork out Rm40k in cash, and remember, that is the buyers hard earned cash. At least the SA could do (aside from the late car arrival, since this is clearly not in his control) is not to treat people like what zblc experience here.

Same goes to T and H, but then I heard more about this problem in Proton than T or H. All cars have problem no matter how expensive they are, but if the SC is willing to be solve the problem patiently and does not close one eye on everything, i believe majority of the owners will be satisfy, and eve n though there are problems with their new ride, owners are willing to spend the time to solve the problems.

I'm not bashing Proton, but I'm bashing the SAs and SCs that are irresponsible. They are the front end of the business and their attitude just make things worse. Don't they realise no business means no job?
*
Yeah, no matter what brand it is, SA and SC is very important. For the case now, it is SA and the office that SA works in. SC also very important to treat the customer car nice, really got skill to maintain the car not take our car as experience which I heard from almost all SC (no matter what brand) got same issue, hire useless workman that know nothing one... doh.gif
