install vs should solve the prob, tis is proton car mah,wat u expect, hehe, mine not oni air cond not stable, when i rev til 100 km/h,can smell the patrol smell from the air cond,=.=
*
Nothing to do with the VS. It's because sometimes the fan push the cool air in sometimes it doesnt. That's why you can feel it is hot and cold alternatively.

Sometimes it is big at the back but small at the front. I want it to be big from front to back so that it can block the rain. I don't mind whether it can block the sun or not since my tinted can block most of the sun already, LOL.

I went to brothers seremban, so far there's still don't have any arm rest for new saga, he recommend me one that can fit but due to it is not design for new saga but old saga, it might have some problems like shaking, so I rejected.

Door visor also, recommend one to me, big size but front cannot block rain one, not good for me either. End up buy nothing but a rain away product to provide clear view during raining day.

is there any way to make the steering lighter to make it more comfortable to control...

why want to make it lighter? I feel that harder is nicer to control. Unlike Unser, the steering is damn light when driving fast is not nice to control.

Lighter not better meh? Better response ma too hard later hard to turn  tongue.gif

Easy to turn = yes
Easy to turn means highway must hold it more tight = yes

I compare unser and saga, one is damn easy to turn, one a bit hard. But when comes to highway, around 100-150km/h, saga is so much easy to handle the steering, unlike unser that need to hold it damn tight to prevent it light = easy turn issue happen.

That's what I'm planning to do, use till cannot use then totally dispose it and change new one. A stock rim usually fi very well to the car itself, most people complain once change new rim, it will cause shaking problem.

QUOTE(Chinzuru @ May 28 2008, 06:55 PM)
hello everybody, Just wondering how much is the RPM for the Manual and Auto when u running at 120KM/h mine is 3.9k,  please state ur trasmission type and the RPM, maybe we can figure out sth for the petrol consumption.

becasue MYVI is only 3.3 or 3.2 when running at 120.... auto also about the same. i have modded quite a few thing and the thing that I most satisfy with my mod is the side signal light, because i really find it is very important for safety. will show picture later.. thumbup.gif
*
Are you driving a manual? Because manual got higher gear ratio compare to auto.

I remember mine is around 3.2-3.3k when hit 120km/h, 3.5-3.6k for 130km/h, 4k for 140km/h. Nowadays the RPM is nothing to do with the fuel consumption. Savvy also hit 3k+ RPM but still it is very save on FC. It's all because of engine. But of course, if you rev it, kancil also can become 0.2/km if you want.

Solar gard/blue/RM1300 with RM200 voucher. Worth the money I paid for, don't even feel a little thing direct under the sun.

maybe our aircond too cold to feel anything kekekekek =P

but seriously.. i think my car need heater inside.. damn freeaking cold laa!
*
Nah, I tested without aircond. Even with aircond, if sun directly shoot to your hand while driving, without tinted you'll feel pain one, my house got another 3 cars, enough for testing already. This is my own car, I rather spend money on a good tint to make me comfortable while driving. Exterior modification only to please others not myself so will back off from it (although it make the car looks nice tongue.gif )

Really, the air cond is so damn cold. I think after wira, this will be another proton car which will famous of cold air cond. Waja air cond is sucks, even lousier than wira. While saga will the best from proton so far. But no need heater that serious, just turn it away, switch the temperature thing to the lowest will do.

RM1300!! did it oso include the security film as well? it very essential for nowadays crime rate...
*
Of course. Video showed the guy hit the windows with helmet, without tinted, 2 hit whole windows gone, with tinted, over 20+ hit and the windows still there with little break only.

Solar gard is a famous brand, before that i planned to get Huper Optik, Germany brand, famous than solar gard but too expensive, with voucher still need RM1500... doh.gif

i tinited 10" infront,65% black.side doors 65% silver black, think its a suncool.then behind and front big screen din do any tinting coz my dad got bad eye sight..scare will kacau his vision..will use visor for side window 2 lower down the size of window under sunshine and a sunguard spoiler behind.

However my family claim the acond not cold wor...how ar?haha

Added on May 29, 2008, 9:28 amChinzuru
er..which gear ur refering?
*
10" only without tinted? Then it is consider useless to tint other windows one. My friend tinted whole car but cheap tint, make his front sight very blur so he take off the front tint left the 8" only, then the car is like no tint at all, still very hot when sun shoot in.

Mine is tinted side and rear with the break prevention tint (darker), front tint without the break prevention (because front widescreen already a break prevention window and it need to be clearer view). Then another 7" darker sun tinted at front.

I'm looking for door visor to prevent rain, not sun tongue.gif I need a big visor to block the rain comes in even I open the windows. Most door visor I saw is big at the back to block the sun but front is small that cant block the rain (although I know door visor purpose is for blocking the sun..LOL) Everyday park the car under sun, can't open the windows because scare raining...

Turn the aircond to face them, switch the cold dial to max, switch it to 2nd level, after 5 minutes sure they complain it is cold.

thanks bro.......now i see.........i am actually driving a manual M line, i just wondering how come our manaul SAGA BLM petrol consumption is about the same as auto......? i though it should be less petrol consumption. becasue mine petrol comsumption is around 280 for RM50 b4 i add on anything,
after added Pivot VS and Pivot spark earth and fuel save now become 310 .........but it still too little compare to the MYVi manual patrol consumption.
*
I have no idea why you guys having high FC, mine although is auto but no matter how I rev the car, I still able to get at least 300km for RM50. Normal drive will get around 330-360km for RM50.

P/S Rev means goes up to 120-150km/h sometimes on the highway.

i cant tint the front and back, not i don want..my dad got bad eye sight mar..if tint again..he sure susah drive at night..old ppl mmng cant see gud.i tint 10" bcos the tint can chun chun block the sunlight from reaching the hands on the steering..il go customiz a carpet for the dashboard infront and apply extracool cushion cover.
*
Old people sure will having some eye sight problem too but the tinted won't affect much though. Of course you need to choose good tint, cheap tint will make the sight worse only like my friend facing blur sight when driving at night (although he does not has any eye sight problem).

Those cushion won't collect dust?

How much is the Pivot VS and Pivot Spark earth?
Sumtimes FC also depends on the way u drive. Example, always drive highway mia of course saver than city drive ; city drive sure saver than kampung drive coz lot of bump.
ching4ever - so far now ur FC ok ? how many milleage d ?
*
Not really, I drive old road + highway the most. City will be less than highway, old road will be the most. It depends on how you drive is the most important one. Just start engine, rev it or on air cond to the max all will affect the FC.

My FC is stable around 0.14-0.16 all the time since second time of refill. 1st time was 0.18. Now nearly 7k milleage.

So far my only problem for my car is the door knorb and asorbar, both get fixed on 1st service and it is serving me well till now (nearly 3 months, nearly 7k milleage).

Anyone can confirm the drive shaft problem is not rusted but some petrol stuff on it only?

Aik... how come gray wan? Mine is black oh... At first I also tot what noise is that, then realize if on speaker too loud or car vibrating can hear the metal sound.

BTW mine is M line manual.
It's just some coloring stuff they use to QC the car. I saw it on the first day I got the car, exactly like the pics posted in V2. Use hand rub rub then it's gone.
*
LOL, in that case, don't need to worry about it anymore.

QUOTE(MR_alien @ May 29 2008, 10:23 PM)
at what time not cold...mine at night super cool.....at noon..okok only!!!
*
At noon, if I'm driving alone, on the air-cond with level 1, temperature dial to around half, 3 aircond head is facing me, it is cold enough till sometimes I need to lower down the temperature.

If with 2 person, level 2 with half temperature dial, it is cool enough till it make me a bit dizzy...

I just got my car just now. I booked on 18th of jan silver m line auto.I waited for 4 months plus d.Last week friday, my SA told me that the car got plate number d but he was having some problem registering my insurance so I might get it on Tuesday latest. After a few days of delay saying that he is busy with something else. Then he drove my car to my house after my dad asked him to do that. but he drove a different car to us.It was a grey m line auto car and the plate number is different from the one he told us. He explained to my dad that there was a problem registering my car at jpj and don't know said anything about the government took my car la...this and that.My dad and I was very angry.my mum was disappointed cause she was the one who paid for the car for me.He register that car under my mum's name without telling us the car's detail.I know grey is ok but i still prefer silver.I was angry that my sa never ever inform us about the car and he dare to drive that car to my house.I booked at the shah alam branch from a chinese sa. I am very disappointed. I waited for so long just to wait for my silver car and this is what they give.guys what do u think?
*
If i were you, I'll not sign it and complain to the branch manager and ask for refund everything!

1) Not the color (change should inform)
2) Not the number (change should inform)

This 2 reasons good enough to keep him take the car himself. Register only, I think if you refuse to sign it, it won't be effect and he need to deal with the troubles himself later on.

the cushion quite good.name:extracool.my fren started to use it..he rear dogs and his father bring his dog to work as well.the dog will be in the car during the driving hours..no dog fur collection thou..haha.means it wont hang stuff on the surface, only let it flow to the ground.
having the front and back tinted a good tint is worth a big buck..im still saving cash for other stuff like visor and spoiler..sprying is another prob..maybe i try to work things out soon.now car not with me liaw..im outstation agn..
*
LOL, sometimes I do bring my dog for a ride on car too, any website to show the cushion? But without tinted the front and back, just tint the side won't help much though. I'm not going to do anything to the car first, not even ICE at this moment. I believe there will be more design of door visor to choose from and cheaper price after few more months later. Spraying paint on the bumper also will not entertain it so fast since it will not get rust due to not metal part. Everything will be hold on first for me...

You mean proton edar service centre? I don't think can because last time when I went to proton edar, they said cannot go EON to service, have to go proton edar so vice versa I think also same.
