My 20A fuse for the power socket just got broken. Using a metal cable to tie the legs of the fuse for temp use right now. Need FM modulator to work dammit.
My first RM50 after getting my car last for only 200KM. Now on second RM50. Travelled RM170km, used up 2 bars. Getting abit better but not so good yet. |

QUOTE(GL-ai @ May 15 2008, 12:06 AM) Dont think they will ever make 1.5 variants also The power output of the 1.3 is too close to the 1.6 variant, 1.3 unofficial records found that it manage to hit 98bhp and the 1.6 at 110 bhp. It's not feasible to create a 1.5 it might even has same power output as the 1.6 |

Which i think without a proper break-in engine, even the 1.6 can get the 98hp in stock condition. |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ May 15 2008, 12:24 AM) The 1.3 is in stock condition or what? 98hp so big wey The figures is from proton one reported by paultan and other sources, its stock with no mods. Proton claim 94bhp because not all engine can reach 98bhp. So if i mod my blm i think can easily get close to the 1.6 figure.Near to 1.6 stock already. Which i think without a proper break-in engine, even the 1.6 can get the 98hp in stock condition. |

My first FC is around 0.18. After run in for few days, manage to get lowest 0.138 before 1st service. After 1st and 2nd service, it is around 0.14-0.16 which is acceptable.
20% highway, 20% city, 60% old road (which is quite bumpy). 60-150km/h depends on road that I drive. It really depends on how you drive the car, what kind of road and weather condition. |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ May 15 2008, 12:37 AM) Quoted from paultan :"The Campro IAFM engine keeps the Campro 1.3’s 94 horsepower at 6,000rpm and 120Nm of torque at 4,000rpm figures, with changes only to the way the power and torque is delivered instead of any change in the peak power and torque. Proton’s dyno tests of the new Campro IAFM engine reveals power ratings of up to 98 horsepower is achievable, but Proton prefers to publish the power figures in brochures at 94 horses for some reason, perhaps for consistency sake as not all engines may be able to achieve the 98 horses figure." http://paultan.org/archives/2008/01/18/the...and-test-drive/ |
