To avoid confusion about the rebates, this is an extract from PM's official announcement (copied from PM's website):

1. PENSTRUKTURAN SUBSIDI PETROL DAN DIESEL DI PAM
Berkuatkuasa esok, 5 Jun 2008, harga petrol akan meningkat sebanyak 78 sen dan diesel sebanyak RM1.00 setiap liter. Harga baru petrol dan diesel di pam adalah RM2.70 seliter dan RM2.58 seliter.

Untuk mengurangkan beban kenaikan kos petrol dan diesel ke atas golongan berpendapatan rendah dan sederhana, Kabinet juga bersetuju untuk memberi bayaran tunai kepada warga Malaysia yang memiliki kenderaan persendirian termasuk pemilik motosikal seperti berikut:

a) Bagi pemilik kenderaan persendirian berkapasiti enjin sehingga 2000cc serta pick up truck dan jip berkapasiti enjin sehingga 2500cc, bayaran tunai sebanyak RM625 setahun bagi setiap kenderaan akan diberikan.

b) Bagi pemilik motosikal persendirian berkapasiti enjin sehingga 250cc, bayaran tunai sebanyak RM150 setahun bagi setiap motosikal akan diberikan.

Bayaran tunai ini akan diberi apabila pemilik kenderaan dan motosikal membayar atau memperbaharui lesen kenderaan bermotor (cukai jalan). Bayaran ini meliputi kenderaan dengan cukai jalan yang berkuat kuasa mulai 1 April 2008 hingga 31 Mac 2009. Bayaran tunai ini akan diberikan secara Kiriman Wang (Money Order) di pejabat Pos Malaysia, di seluruh negara, mulai 1 Julai 2008.

Bagi pemilik kenderaan dan motosikal yang tidak termasuk dalam kategori bayaran tunai tersebut, Kabinet telah memutuskan untuk mengurangkan cukai jalan mengikut kadar berikut berkuatkuasa 1 Jun 2008:

a) Bagi pemilik kenderaan persendirian petrol dan diesel berkapasiti enjin melebihi 2000cc, cukai jalan akan dikurangkan sebanyak RM200.

b) Bagi pemilik motosikal persendirian berkapasiti enjin lebih daripada 250cc, cukai jalan akan dikurangkan sebanyak RM50, tertakluk kepada cukai jalan minima sebanyak RM2.

so i think new registration also get the rebat laaa. If not x rasala that rebate. correct me if im wrong???

lol you should have gone straight home

i was driving home .. my tank was full from yesterday
but unluckyly got stuck in as well .. lol
coz after office hour sure highway traffic ..so i everyday take inner road..... today did the same....suddenly inner road lagi teruk lol
sigh
nvm .. when i get tv n laptop fitted in my car .. wont c as bad in traffic like this lol

I was so pissed when heard that the petrol increase so damn a lot. They forcing us to buy expensive local car, expensive imported car, those money not enough for them? Malaysia got so many things to imported out to earn income, not enough to cover the cost? Now still want to steal money from citizen? Everything is increase but salary never increase, how are we going to survive in this f***ng country?
