i think the main idea is to have a place of our own as sifoo B mentioned .. rather than being a subforum of another main site ..

if seriously thinking about sponsors and that kinda stuff .. then i suppose the sponsors would want keywords MALAYSIA and FISHING unless sponsors are not local laa .. same reason why MFN is the highest hit malaysian fishing site

Boat Owner : Steven ... Boat captain : Mokthar (one of the most senior boatman in KK)
Fishing Dates : 8,9,10&11 Aug 2008 4D3N trip
Proposed airticket dates : 8th AUG 08(depart from KL) 12th AUG 08(depart from KK)
Price : rm4300 total for boat (10pax very comfy ... 12 pax acceptable)
this includes simple meals on boat, water and ICE
Other costs : rm1000
this includes transport from airport to jetty and return, fruits and soft drinks on board, weight sinkers
proposed fishing : bottom with some jigging during the day

this leaves us with 1 extra nite to spend in KK to do whatever ..
hotels can be arranged ... roughly rm125-150 per room (twin sharing)

all the above costs have yet to include air ticket ...

please leave any comments or suggestions regarding this on forum ..

i will need to confirm the boat within the next 3 days ... so i will update the list again .. once u put your name there then i will collect FULL payment for boat from u guys .. hehehehe

if create another forum like sifu-fishing.com, the whole forum will be participated by only a few members.i'd rather prefer this subforum in LYN. small and you can find everything under 1 topic instead of searching the whole forum for a small thing.
just my 2 cents of worth

u are right .. creating a new forum/site on its own is not ez at all .. u can only get new members who do internet searches
on the other hand ... being a subforum of a well known place such as LYN gets more members easily .. alot occasionally coming in and asking for info thus higher chance of getting hooked on this very expensive hobby .. hehehehe
but u are oso subjected to the rules & regulations of the main forum lor ..

Both staying here or open new forum has their pro and cons, so tat is y i brought up the subject. If no one agrees to it then no point in proceeding wif it as it will die of a natural death sooner or later.

Human are sentimental creatures, therefore it is not easy to part wif something we are comfortable wif. Like Sifu Q, if he go out n do biz himself, sure can earn much much more but he is comfortable earning more than he can spend while in his comfortable situation currently...... muahahaha....................

use any popper then wrap with "glow in the dark" condoms. itu saja cheap cheap plus pakai buang. hahahahaha kidding niah, i think at the market that have some liquid that can use to paint and get the glow in the dark effect. but it can only last for few hour...

Maybe they still dono how power the fishy in kk, kasi more picture tok by uncle to poison lah. I'm searching all the jigging spot at kk, will post it up once I got the full information.
