920sh price...probably going to go up, I traded a 904sh and a 705sh for a 920sh. About an equal trade, 904sh I got really cheap from japan and 705sh also cheap too.

but 903sh prices are still very expensive here in the US...
I think the prices are cheap in SG too for softbank after looking at prices on hardwarezone.

i used 920sh in public and it gets looks haha, but it scratches so easily...sad.gif

http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d84643245

what does anyone think of skinning the 920sh? I as much as I like the shine to it, I think a solid gold skin similar to the back of 920sh would be better plus the scratches...ugh

OOO... thanks ya..

Was wondering why are those TW/HK people so geng at hacking JP phones...
*
they've been doing it since the 902sh/903sh days probably since the first global roaming vodafone japan. I guess the proximity to japan and other factors like triving grey markey fuel it

Afraid none of them because all of the newer J-phone models, the WAP/MMS settings are obtained through OTA re provisioning which available on its origin network only. Besides, Softbank 705Px able to use GRPS through bypass SIM unlock but not MMS because they don't use MMS anymore but Mail (with only Settings tailored to Softbank Mail server).

so 705px is confirmed working with gprs with hypersim? Thought so, b/c I remember seeing the settings available for editing and adding profiles

and that means Zack Styler's 804sh should work on gprs also as it has the settings editable?

haha luckily we have vodafone bro here to help..

Err Mr Vodafone, any idea how to turn off 804sh re provisioning ar??

thanks..  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

you cant, but try to get used to the short cut key under the accept call key button, you can do most of the settings folders from there without a repro. I've been using my 903sh and 920sh like that and can avoid the repro all together for most functions

Nope, all of them with repro but you could use data packet related services/functions with the phone. Using hypercard 256 with 705Px.
*
weird my hyper256 didnt work on it, and i got invalid sim card errors even after master reset, must be something with the sim card type in the US causing it. as the same hypercard is in my 920sh working prfectly

uuhhhh scratch magnet...probably due to its reflective surface ya?

now i am worried about P906i...the surface is reflective / mirror-like.
*
yep on hthe reflective surface even though its metal, I thought it wouldnt be as bad as the 904sh, and guy who owned it before me had the same issue. waiting for any skins for the top,

Hmm did you use 3G USIM card on it? It seems the phone only accepts 3G USIM card. I did try on Maxis and Celcom both could use GRPS as long as the settings are correct.

biggrin.gif
*
well it worked using an INEX 128 hypercard with my sim card without many issues, I think it is a 3g usim since it has 3g written on it. If I get another 705p I'll probably try it again with other sim cards.
