urgh... I'm B+ too but then again my neighbourhood has a problem of mosquitoes that it seems a daily occurance for me to have mosquitoes bites... (They are huge anyway)

Nyamuk loves Cholesterol?
Nyamuk loves B+ group?

Hmmm... this makes me think I want to make a thesis about Nyamuk's preferences to human blood content.. haha... actually, I'm thinking about "Effects of HIV-contaminated blood derived from Mosquitoes to humans" <--- it got me thinking when I kill some nyamuks with fresh blood... ngehh...

Through my observation during a family BBQ session one evening, (geez, I sound like a scientist hahah), I found that family members with high cholesterol records are more likely to attract mosquitoes compared to other low cholesterol family members.

So in conclusion to this we could say that high cholesterol level in a person is the main culprit for mosquitoes bites.

I'm B+, my parents are B+, we all get mosquitoes flying all over us. Which is good for me cause i need to kill them to feed my fighting fish tongue.gif
So, i hunt for them when they try to bite me smile.gif

rclxub.gif my cholesterol level isn't that high... still within average level (i go for medical check ups)... but some around me are fat... then the mosquitoes should have loved them more than me... but still, i'm their fave... any more theories?

basically B type blood or cholesterol is not the key attractive the mosquitoe, but the certain biological acid that ur body discharge on the skin...... and of course CO2

so it does not mean, if u fat or bigger size surely got a lot of mosquitoe bite marks. but for those that sweat a lot and those sweat little yet have oily skin, u are prime target as far as i'm concern....

QUOTE(nicKit @ May 10 2008, 03:12 PM)
do you ever been bitten by mosquito while being in a small group of ppl (abt 3-4 ppl)? n being the only one bitten?

the mosquitoes seem to have falling in love wif my blood... almost everytime, they will bite me "with love" even when there is other "delicious" ppl... why why why? is this a health risk? or i'm just prone to mosquito bites?

facts that i know :
1. sometimes my bf say my body temperature is slightly hotter
2. their fave parts are the legs n arms *ugly legs n arms cry.gif *, sometimes feet n fingers, rarely the "tapak kaki" n once "kiss" on my lips
3. even when i'm sick, they still love me to bits
4. i love to take tonics
5. my blood type is b
6. i couldn't kill them wif my hands coz i nv could be fast or focus enuf to follow them cry.gif

anyone can try to explain to me? rclxub.gif n to those who reply, pls mention oso ur blood type n if mosquito loves u or u smack them flat...
*
me too sweat.gif
my parents used to say my blood very sweet...thus attract the mosquito to bite kiss me doh.gif
my blood type is A

im also o.. i dont think mosquito hunt based on our blood type..
from personal experience, i would say:
1) Body heat
2) Body odor
3) Ur skin (or shirt) color
