And just to share an interesting quote from the article:

Through my observation during a family BBQ session one evening, (geez, I sound like a scientist hahah), I found that family members with high cholesterol records are more likely to attract mosquitoes compared to other low cholesterol family members.

So in conclusion to this we could say that high cholesterol level in a person is the main culprit for mosquitoes bites.
