3 phase meant outside wires should be bigger than normal 1 phase right?

Any reason you need 3 phase wires?
Got heavy load like wedding machine or air pump for workshop inside your house?

Usually 3 to 5 units aircond + heater + fridge + teapot + hairs dryer + washer + dryer, if all turn on at same time maybe you need go for 3 phase for bigger wires to tahan more heat.

If normal daily use you can forget it what is call 3 phase.

My house only having air cond x 4 seldom open,told to constructor mostly
usage on fans + fridge 710L + joven storage tank heater x 2 + normal small bath heater x1...Tv.+ washer machine...that's no water pump install..

But the constructor and electrical engineering recommended to fix install all to say avoid the power supply matter ? Probably electric will suddenly cut off and no safety..?

Probably i been fooled? Should i go to consumer complaint? My house is second hand 30 years to almost re-built...then only i let go them to manage but i felt been cheat... sweat.gif

Tq for info sharing...I guess understood all brothers means...actually another previous house owner did changed house wiring about 10 years ago..is shall be time to change for safety..? By professional ..usually how long period usage we need to newly install cable wiring for normal housing usage?

So the correct method is to connect direct to DB? Does it involves hacking the walls? Planning to install aircond points in 2 rooms.

Any idea how much will it be? But if buy aircond the installer will not create plugpoint connecting to the DB right?

Just on the aircon alone, 1hp = 4 amps, 1.5hp = 5.2amps, 2.5hp = 11.5a,amps
Total = 20.7 Amps

Now imagine a small party in your house all aircons running and someone taking a
hot water shower.

Add Bath Water heater (hottest)= 24amps, kitchen load rice cooker = 10 amps, fridge = 5 amps, microwave, water kettle=10amps microwave - 10 amps
Total = 59amps

Add lights/fans and miscellaneous TV, sockets total another 10amps

Grand Total = 90.7 amps.  Almost no more safety factor.

Prefer 20% safety factor for transient overloads and copper wiring aging.

Add another phase to balance the electrical load is good advice.

My house currently 1 phase, but wiremen said its 3 phase ready since after looking at my meter box only use fuse at blue, while red and yellow no fuse. He said if want to upgrade to 3 phase just need to pull cable from meter box to the DB and change new DB. Is this correct? Costs around 5k. The purpose i want to upgrade to 3 phase because want to add more air cond. currently got 3 aircond (2.0 at living, 1.5 at master bedroom and 1.0hp at guest room). Recently just purchase the apartment. Today i go to management to apply the reno permit, but i have been told that my current electric cant supply which based on following:
1) 3 Air Cond - (1 horse X 2, 1.5 horse X1)
2) 2 water heater
3) additional add 18 socket.

My management told me go to apply the 3 phase in order the electric work well. May i know roughly the cost for doing this?

Reason for bulbs blowing are usually because of unstable voltage (high current thus thermal breakdown)..

The reason for unstable voltage is bad connection..

Make sure your terminals are solidly connected..

Get your wireman to check and rectify it.

If your home light have no problem but the garden light always blow out, very much got to do with weather.

The weather and temperature vary outside cause moisture and heat. Electronic thing inside the bulb like CFL or LED sure will kfc.

is just the DB box and the charges for TNB + misc. Cabling is not included
