I like Justin Lin, he understands 'F n F' scene (fast five being the best of the lot)
It may not be well put together if it's thrown to another director even the original director (compared to FF, the first seemed a little lots of gloss, average on content) |

QUOTE(masterelr @ Apr 17 2013, 12:39 AM) He was wearing that shirt since Fast Five. For those who manage to get the DVD & listen to the director's commentary, one will understand the evolving characters of the franchise. no point revisiting what was done in the first, second, because the overall fans wants to know the graduation story.Anyway.. a few months ago there was an article in The Star were Vin Diesel mentions why Letty turned to bad. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Surprisingly no one also mentioned that Justin Lin is no longer the director for Fast and Furious 7 because he didn't feel there is enough time to get the last installment ready next summer, which is what the studio wants. I dont know if Justin Lin will be involved in the 7th, while i think the best amongst all to me was the first. I did cringed at his first effort (tokyo drift) but maybe it was more of the missing original F&F characters, it didn't seem right & fitted. Justin's effort in the fourth of the series was ok (better then his F&F TD), while clearly maturing in his effort for Fast Five. Really, get the understand why the series has evolved, the DVD commentary is an enlightenment for fans of this franchise. |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ May 22 2013, 10:18 AM) Still watching it. Just so I can add a review for it. Truth? But seriously, lets compare to 2 Fast 2 Furious. That being the worst. And how you would guys rank. And while some of us know of the End Credit (Me too), SPOILER LAH DEYH. Edit: Perhaps it's just me, but I am in this position that I want this to be as frigging fun as The A-Team. But hey, that's just me. Also, someone answer me this: Where in the world is Don Omar and Tego Calderon? Budget cutbacks goes without saying also to accommodate mr Jxxxx Stxxxxxx in Fast 7, some characters are to be sacrificed. "Family" will be trimmed to minimal core fellas, i wont be surprised a semi major character might be killed in 7th instalment i.e. Mia or even Brian O'conner (for added drama) This post has been edited by koolspyda: May 23 2013, 08:51 AM |

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ May 23 2013, 12:38 AM) just watched it today, loved it for what it is. no brains, all action, car chases and some humour(actually, make that quite a number of humourous sequences) what i didnt like was how they » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « thanks to Tokyo Drift, the event was obviously coming, but they could've handled it better. instead, it happened, and that's it. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by koolspyda: May 24 2013, 05:40 PM |

QUOTE(Shiniz @ May 25 2013, 03:56 AM) haha i know..the last part was retaken...actually if statham ever appeared in it...sean would have known that han was murdered..so a tokyo drift version 1.2? while TokeYO Drift appears as F&F3, it's (story) stands in the timeline after Fast 6. they just want to tie-up all F&F franchise. From what i read in other forums, they are looking possibly into another (trilogy?) Fast 7 (8 & 9) with turkey, china being possible locations. (there is a youtube clip where Vin Diesel (him being one of the producers of the franchise), mentioned of the new locations. who knows maybe after pitting against the Shaw brothers.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by koolspyda: May 25 2013, 10:58 AM |

Some of you might be pissed of Fast 6 story
Some of you find the logic ridiculous Some of you were irritated that gisele is gone Some of you thinks the runway is too silly Here why fans absolutely love it Link to Facebook Fans love Fast and Furious 6 amongst, "Best one yet!!!(besides the first)" " just one word AWESOME ,,," "By far the best and looking forward for the next Fast and the Furious 7" "A job well done once again...I've watched every single Fast & the furious movie and they just kept getting better everytime the next 1 came out,,,but Fast 6 just topped it off and now the team has to work extra hard to make Fast 7 even better cause ther has to be a Fast 7" TO those haven't been able to catch Fast 6, have fun watching haaaha |

Thanks for the excellent link. The bridge between FF1 to FF2 seems dodgy production. He does looks like Brian o Conner, walks like Brian, acts like Brian. Maybe it was early early days of the franchise where that hip hop style video was typical.
Just to add van diesel is a terrible director This post has been edited by koolspyda: May 29 2013, 04:11 PM |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ May 29 2013, 05:25 PM) Producer. Van diesel wrote & directed this "Los Bandoleros " He is one of producers of the franchise I know. I saw one of his press junket about the future of franchise (fast 7 and onward) in Manila. I don't know if he is "putting on" or.. Well he behave quite unlike his cool demeanour (FF movie) This post has been edited by koolspyda: May 29 2013, 06:10 PM |
