oh yeah! my favourite scene too. I am also very in love with green Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Another good racer movies is Torque, its about motor racing though. Gone in 60 seconds was awesome too. They dont make movies like these anymore.

Crazy action scenes, lots of exotic cars. Almost jumped up from my seats and go 'Whoa!' over some scenes. Lots of stars, Vin Diesel against the Rock, I m sure its something people have been waiting for.

Story wise a little draggy, lots of cliche dialogues that try hard to relate to the previous series, too much romance!

The front and the end are certainly the best parts, thank god !

personally i like,

1st) tokyo drift - bout a kid go to japan n join this underworld of racing. damn nice. the drifts the country the chicks. this is how it should look like
2nd) fast five - coz of all the actions n damn nice mission. i like it how it connect all the previous fast and furious. n the rock !!! damn...
3rd) fast and furious - its the beginning of everything. can see how noob they are at this time. how brian join the familly n stuff

the 2nd one n 4th one kinda average to me.
juz normal car chase n mission to beat a mafia like tht. nothing special actually. very common.

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS 6 AND 7 MAY SHOOT BACK TO BACK. JASON STATHAM TO JOIN CAST

user posted image

There is potentially some big news in the works for fans of the Fast And The Furious franchise.

Sources tell Twitch that Universal Pictures are currently looking in to the possibility of shooting Fast 6 and Fast 7 back to back in Europe throughout 2012 and, furthermore, that they are entering into preliminary conversations with Jason Statham to explore the possibility of the action star joining one or both films.

Statham is far from a sure thing at this point but if ever a star made more sense for this franchise - particularly if they are shifting to a European base of operations - then I am hard pressed to imagine who it might be.

Director Justin Lin recently exited the director's role for Terminator 5 due to a scheduling conflict. If this back to back talk pans out that would go a very long way to explaining how that conflict arose.

Fast and Furious Boys Confirm Parts 6 and 7 are Coming at You, Presumably Nitro-Charged

user posted image

I guess it makes sense. How many characters, main ones and otherwise, are in the franchise after the last movie? About thirty the last time I counted. (Okay, maybe not thirty, but it sure feels like it, right?)

With so many characters, franchise star Vin Diesel, director Justin Lin, and screenwriter Chris Morgan have all but confirmed that there won’t be just a part six, there will be a part seven. Apparently when the boys sat down to map out what they wanted to do in a part six, they realized they needed a whole ‘nother movie, and the studio, it appears, was more than happy to oblige them. I guess $626 million worldwide in box office for the obscenely ridiculous “Fast Five” made them, uh, extremely amendable to such an ambitious project.

No word on the plot of the sixth and seventh movie, or if they’ll be a single, continuing two-parter or standalone stories. Just that the two parts are being written simultaneously, and we presume, eventually shot back-to-back to cut down on cost.

What we do know, though, is that Diesel and Paul Walker will of course be back, as well as new castmember Dwayne Johnson. As hinted at at the end of “Fast Five”, both Michelle Rodriguez and Eva Mendes are also expected back for another round of fast cars, sexy girls, and ludicrous narrative plotting.

I like Justin Lin, he understands 'F n F' scene (fast five being the best of the lot)

It may not be well put together if it's thrown to another director even the original director (compared to FF, the first seemed a little lots of gloss, average on content)

Luke Evans Will Menace Fast and Furious 6

user posted image

Let’s face it, “The Fast and Furious” franchise has never been known for their villains. Hell, I don’t even recall the villains of the last five movies — who played them, what their characters were called, etc. I remember the guy in “Tokyo Drift” was a Japanese guy, but that’s only because that installment took place in Japan. Likewise, the bad guy from “Fast Five” was Brazilian, because the movie took place in Brazil. There’s a pattern here: whatever country the entry takes place in, the bad guy is from there.

So now with Luke Evans in talks to play the villain in “The Fast and Furious 6″, does that mean the bad guy is British, and that the boys will end up in the UK? Not necessarily, I guess. Being British, he could be working in any European country, I suppose.

The plot of part six has “the crew heading overseas to work on a heist job”, since as you’ll recall, the franchise has now transitioned from being a crime film about street racing to a heist franchise ala the “Ocean’s 11″ movies, only less, you know, subtle.

Evans is said to be playing the leader of “another crew trying to pull off the same job” as our gang of good guys. Well, good-ish, I guess.

Main actors Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will reprise their roles, along with Dwayne Johnson as the law-enforcement badass on their tail from “Fast Five”. Newcomers will include “Haywire” Gina Carano, as a new member of Johnson’s crew, with Justin Lin back to direct.

Luke Evans is currently at work on Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit”, and recently stunk up the joint with “The Raven” alongside John Cusack.
