it's good, good that you are thinking now.

but questions that you asked, were very fundamental question, which you should be doing the research before asking. and these information MAY not be accurate.

starting a biz is good, but starting biz without proper planning and experience.. too risky. get some books, read up... empower yourself with that.

I read in a website that an option will be to approach a company in one developed country and see if they want to open a representative/regional office in the country of your choice, in my case, malaysia. Then the regional office can do marketting, contract negotiations for an outsourcing nearshoring deal and then when everything is in order you can incorporate a subsidiary. does anyone know any good books out there that i can look into on the subject?
or can anyone explain in more detail the process i have mentioned. thanks.

Hi, i would like to know how i can open a shop in malaysia? do i have to buy a lease or can i rent it out. is it there a min period of rent?

IN UK, most business expecially those comes with heavy renovation are set up via LEASE HOLD type. mean, u buy the business lease from the previous owner, for example 20 years for 80k gbp, and u still need to pay for the rental based on weekly basis and pay the landlord quarterly.

In malaysia, u just go hunt a shop, rent it, make ur own renovation, and kickstart the business.

there is no leasehold business in malaysia, cause the shops availability in malaysia is more than demand, which does not like uk, SHOP LOTS ARE LIMITED.
