Those are known as co-op cards [or something like that] so U can actually get the Sony MBB & Petronas MBB - there's no conflict.

@tinkerbel if im not mistaken it will offset ur outstanding balance in ur monthly statement as "rebate". well that was how the cimb petronas work i think. i just asked my dad, the rebate appeared as rebate as the last item in the statement.

anyway, any penalty for "over paying" DA and HSBC CC? all those sen sen and a few ringgit...hard to pay la...cash deposit machine dont accept coins .

No there's no penalty for over paying but there's no benefit either   As in, if U don't pay enough U'll be charged interest on the outstanding amount.  If U pay too much, U don't earn interest

Citibank is ridiculous, you must be a full-pay-master for the 12 months consecutively in order to enjoy for the 20 days free interest on retail purchase. Or else the interest will be charged from the posting date.

I call HSBC to clarify, in order to be entitled for the 20 days of free interest on retail purchase, you only need to clear your previous month's outstanding balance; as opposed to Citibank 12 months ruling.
