AMB got so many funds...which one u referring to?

If u referring to AMB Dividend, I just have this to say:
HwangIM is the external manager appointed by AMB to manage this fund

Hwang Select Dividend Fund is bigger than AMB Dividend rolleyes.gif
*
you are right I am refering to AMB Dividend..

But where you get this info? AMB doesnt have their own Manager to manage this fund?

Added on October 16, 2012, 10:37 ambut I'm not in favour of buying into Malaysian dividend fund, might as well buy dividend shares on my own. I only have Hwang Asia Quantum as Malaysian-focused small-mid cap fund.

Dividend investing is quite easy actually, but u must have the holding power + patience.

ah.. noted! Thanks!

Is it encouragable to purchase PM funds now?

Dont mention bout stocks, im still young and inexperienced. My target is 6-9% per year, and i am willing to lock ~20k for 5 years to see results. But most reviews on ut are bad, and it did influenced me. at the same time i did put quite some money in ASG, and provided the steady dividen of 7% still happens, is it advisable to pump in the 20k there or put in other ut like PM?
*
Which fund you are interested in PM?

For me, if bond fund.. i will do lumpsum. Equities, will do by few stages...

Singapore lower inflation, and their currency is stronger, thus they can live with lower interest rates/dividend yields. icon_rolleyes.gif

If US do not take action approching the Jan Fiscal cliff.. US will go into recession which is very dangerous. Hopefully they could extend a bit longer the Bush administration Fiscal policy or come out with a policy which will make the economy grow..

oh ok thanks.. how about any funds/bonds that is considerable for entry ppl like me? Wat kind of portfolio would be suitable for a fresh grad? my aim is ~10%pa net ROI, means after deduct those charges. last time got amdynamic bond seems good but now closed already, need to look for alternative for long term one.
*
Don't think there are bonds in Malaysia that can continuously giving 10% pa every year. Once a while maybe possible.

You need to consider some equities portfolio as well if you set a target of 10% pa..
