It was healthy, heavy and eating well. wat is his age????Sigh...very sad and down because today another beautiful pet bird of mine also died suddenly. Still wondering what went wrong with them. Because they look pretty normal didn't show any sign of illness in them before death. This is the one that died yesterday. Sigh...very hard to get over their death. din bring him let doc check for the causes of his death?? |

QUOTE(Juztiny @ May 14 2008, 10:49 AM) LOL! I think my GPs would chew up the tissue box as well! Anyway, great idea! lol...wont..My only concern is what if they tear up the box instead of the hay first, then would be very messy. coz the box u tie it at ouside the cage.. then there is a hole to supply the hay.. u can refer to rabbit thread 1st page.. there are pic of the tisu box tht contain hay...... really not bad n cn consider. |

Poor Peruvian, saw his brother died already, very lonely and moody. I tried to put him with another lone ranger Abby, but they fight. So no choice only these 2 babies could keep them company. tht peruvian not male???? ur baby female ........ u only can keep til they 3 weeks...lol |

QUOTE(silverwineus @ May 14 2008, 07:22 PM) I will let them out after i come home from work, which is evening. Or morning and evening during weekends. oh icic...Never put a guinea pig outside under a sun, esp noon. Even they may be enclosed in a hutch or small house provided. They are extremely prone to 'heat stroke'. A guinea that has heat stroke will have the appearance of a stiff body, paws and feet. And if not rescued immediately, it will die. Below is a picture of a heat-stroke piggie under rescue. >>click here<< Added on May 14, 2008, 7:24 pmIf the area where you live has cats and predators roaming, will require monitoring. But i'm a bit fortunate as my area has no cats, further my fencing is extremely high. coz my balcony.... there are nvr have direct sunlight ... jus that the indirect sunlight will cause some heat... izzit okie for me to put them on my balcony? |

QUOTE(silverwineus @ May 14 2008, 07:48 PM) Should be fine. It's within your own discretion. Guinea pig love to be near sunny area, large and airy space . They will display a jolly attribute with their companions. haha...coz now i put him in living hall...It's ok, just make sure the balcony is piggie proof from fall, and bring them in when the weather is sizzling. It's good you have such nice place for your guinea. But the floor will be dirtied and needs cleaning. You can lay layer of newspaper if you like. If you have better idea, i'd like to learn too.. everyday seem vry dark...... din have much sunlight shine in...... tht y i consider changing the place....... abt idea....i still learning from some website..... but i think ur cage ady vry nice ...almost perfect... |
