i went there last week & there were loads of emm. feel like keeping them all.

Yesterday morning found one of my precious Peruvian GP died.  Still can't understand why it died suddenly. It was healthy, heavy and eating well.
Sigh...very sad and down because today another beautiful pet bird of mine also died suddenly. Still wondering what went wrong with them. Because they look pretty normal didn't show any sign of illness in them before death.   I suspect it could be the green veg my maid fed them wasn't clean properly.

This is the one that died yesterday.  Sigh...very hard to get over their death.

He is 1 year 5 months old. 

Post Mortem? Must be very expensive on small animal like this. Probably that cost can buy another Peruvian GP already.

juz bought a baby sheltie juz now..
so cute n quite tame..

i bought from the shop that i mentioned on last friday..
but somehow, the so called peruvian-shelty has been sold..
only 2 shelties and 1 peruvian left..
decided to take a brown sheltie.. dunno whether male or female..
about the lice/mites, emm still haven't look at it thoroughly..
it is so cute that i really wanna have it.. well, i'll handle all the consequences.. huhu
so far, no constant scratching..

LOL! I think my GPs would chew up the tissue box as well!  Anyway, great idea!

My only concern is what if they tear up the box instead of the hay first, then would be very messy.

gp's skins are sensitive to direct sunlight..
but i think constant heating from indirect sunlight oso not very good for gp.. i think la.. correct me if i'm wrong..

These 2 babies the more I look at them, the more I want to keep them, further more they are female.

OMG, now you are not alone, the more i see yours, the more i want them too! But there isnt' any room left for them in my house, hehe..

I will keep them to accompany my another lonely Peruvian and Abby then.  Poor Peruvian, saw his brother died already, very lonely and moody.  I tried to put him with another lone ranger Abby, but they fight.  So no choice only these 2 babies could keep them company.

I will let them out after i come home from work, which is evening. Or morning and evening during weekends.

Never put a guinea pig outside under a sun, esp noon. Even they may be enclosed in a hutch or small house provided.

They are extremely prone to 'heat stroke'.

A guinea that has heat stroke will have the appearance of a stiff body, paws and feet. And if not rescued immediately, it will die.

Should be fine. It's within your own discretion. Guinea pig love to be near sunny area, large and airy space . They will display a jolly attribute with their companions.
It's ok, just make sure the balcony is piggie proof from fall, and bring them in when the weather is sizzling.

It's good you have such nice place for your guinea. But the floor will be dirtied and needs cleaning. You can lay layer of newspaper if you like. If you have better idea, i'd like to learn too..

By year end, I will move to a corner house, I'm thinking of putting them in the garden area, so that their poos could be the fertilizer for my grass. But wondering their pee is toxic to the grass or not?  But also concern about the direct sunlight on to their cage.  Still haven't figure out any good idea yet.  If anyone has any good idea to share with me would be great!

MooZz, Lice will be very widespread, all over, if confirmed, get Advantage quickly yeah? The last time i bought from Pet Family, Tmn Megah..

Apply one drop near the ear, where skin is exposed, and don't bathe it for 2 to 3 weeks.. If the condition still persists, apply again only after a month, k?

How much of the white thing got?You sure it doesn't move?
