so basically IM3 is keeping shut for any tie-in with other Marvel movies (the post credit).

kinda boring since they butchered mandarin character, makes ben kingsley look like a comedian instead.

the only thing that keep me watching til the end was the part where Pepper going 'berserk' moment. the rest of the movie was just like .. meh.

well, people were expecting some sort of build-up to the avengers 2 story..like what they did with past marvel movies.

but what do you get after waiting for like 10+ minutes? just tony talking to bruce banner..lol. after the mandarin, the post-credits scene is another slap in the face.

well, we can check our expectations  smile.gif

We already know tony & nick isn't the coziest buddies, mr stark did say he doesn't necessarily dance to Fury's tune or completely in agreeable with shields (the organisation) ultimate motive of arms development (obsession with the tesseract and all)

I believe we still have other super super hero, not sure its the guy with the hammer thingy,  or the man in the spangled blue & white suit, perhaps the big (green) man.

This IM3 is in line with avengers (tone, action, humour) and the previous IM installments. I look at the complete storyline the crossovers, I emphatic with the assessment if it's view as a standalone (in a way).

Also in the grounded real world, a lot of negotiations are still yet to be finalised, right? We know of avengers 2, but I think the studios will, is looking forth to chunk out the other supes movies first.

I didn't understand why the anti IM brigade here didnt understand the end scene or appreciate it. It all make sense, to me at least. Right from the very beginning of the movie, we know tony was speaking as a 1st person to someone. We assume it's directed to us (the viewers) at the beginning.

Mr genius is having PTSD, he probably could just walk straight into a normal civilian clinic to see the psychiatrist.

It also opens up to an opportunity to have a light banter between the 2. (after avengers, we know this 2 have a 'thing' together  smile.gif

Of course it would be in tradition as past movies to have mr nick fury walk in. But it done, that's done, mr shield had recruited his avengers. They expect nick to walk in to ask Tony stark permission to recruit more supes? Or perhaps revealing the idea of going against that other secret secret organisation that has their own membership?  shocking.gif  rolleyes.gif

No offense guys but come on  cool2.gif

Mr downey jr is mr tony, he is at his element with narcissistic remarks. Why can't the little brigades see that?

I've no problem with the ending credit scene... could be done better.... but what I've problem the the rest of the movie, I had high hopes it'll be good (Biggest Box-office this year) against the even more illogical super-powered Alien from DC...

Box-office wise, I suppose it'll reach half a billion... A billion would be difficult

Really? are we now only obsession on box office banters? tongue.gif

I do know about the little brigadiers (could almost be mistaken as 'shall-not-be-named' filmmaker's fine elfs sweat.gif ) are all gleefully in anticipation of (their) god-like saviour. It suppose to cream all Marv's super super dudes tongue.gif tongue.gif

I'm just in for good entertainment. I think IM nailed it. Happy to caught it (twice), don't mind another. cool2.gif

^ I prefer the more realistic Marvel lore ... but I cannot back IM3 story-wise...

Box-office is a good general public perception...

I refrain from saying "fan"... that most just supports without realistic justification.

Erm ... what's with the hoohah over Killian breathing fire? In the comics it is one of the abilities gained from Extremis. Lazy to dig up images so some textual info:

Dont worry, you are one of the few who have an interesting discourse about movies despite difference movie genres.

It kinda helps sweep over one syllable brigadiers. It's fine of them after the initial shock after the premier or excitement but when its too often repeated .. (tsk)
Dont even start with those overbearing 'ones' whom months before the actual screening uses only single syllable rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

QuickFire has a valid point in regards to the narration. cool2.gif completely in agreement.

I like how they surprised us by not showing certain things in the trailers (who the Mandarin really was, villain's powers, what happened to Pepper, and who Tony got help from when he was laying low).
