from my limited babelfish translation, it appears that the article is saying the company is making some stunt in order to popularize the 9600GSO sales is it? That not all 9600GSO from the company is the same?

Whoever else does this, provide benchmarks before and after softmod with real games... I don't trust 3DMark that much, prefer real world testing.
