I think customs wised up to our imports already. I had a 6 BD package from ebay and customs opened it. The declaration was below RM500 obviously but they still buka. Luckily they lepaskan so that was fine. If you do 15-20 at a go, I think that will definitely attract their attention.
Btw, if anyone is selling their blu-ray movies, please let me know. I'm stocking up on my titles.  smile.gif
*
Some customs not only buka but the box, they buka the software as well. That's when you'll have problems selling or telling to your customers. Nobody will believe the item is new when the original wrapper has been removed. That's what I fear most. sweat.gif

I had watched 'Assembly'. Yeah, a bit of 'Saving Pvt Ryan' style with a bit of 'band of brothers' and 'Flags of our Father' style in it.

Not a bad movie considering it is China movie.
*
I have to agree with ya, at least it's not a low budget movies, it's quite a decent movie. I just watched it on dvd last night.

pls..need help here..

just trying my 663...i try bitstream from ps3 to avr..but how to know the sound is dts hd-ma?..this movie got dts hd ma(chain reaction)..ps3 can't bitstream dts hd-ma?
*
If your PS3 has the latest firmware, it will output DTS-MA in PCM format, you can check by hitting select when the movie is running to see whether you have properly selected DTS-MA but your amp will not show DTS-MA but PCM only because PS3 can bitstream lossless audio codecs. Don't panic, you'll get used to it until you get a dedicated blu-ray player one day.

Mmmm... Amazon can feel the impact also tongue.gif ;p
*
If Amazon gives us a Petronas vouchers for every BD purchased, then that's different. tongue.gif

Just now got caught in a massive traffic jam, rows of cars near the petrol stations, the whole road couldn't move at all. It doesn't concern me since I pumped full tank 3 days ago. doh.gif If they allow me to bungkus the petrol in a steel barrel then different lah. laugh.gif

What lah, increase so much pulak, later August, will follow market rate but prices of cars never drop, it should be like UK mah, cars cheap, petrol expensive, but Malaysia, everything also expensive including original VCDs. shakehead.gif

In August how much it would be? RM4 per liter ar? mad.gif
*
For now, it is estimated at RM4 per litre but might be higher if world oil prices keep on increasing. Later, we'll need solar or hybrid cars. doh.gif

QUOTE(kkChan @ Jun 4 2008, 10:58 PM)
okie... so the sale of BD will drop, as demand drops, so later BD prices will also drop...
*
Either this reason or if HD-DVD makes a comeback with full backing from hollywood / bollywood studios, if not, pirate BDs are selling at dirt cheap prices, will probably make the BD prices go cheaper for sure.

QUOTE(htkaki @ Jun 4 2008, 11:45 PM)
Bro, electricity bill also will inflate by next mth. Mati lah. I worry about the chain effect more than these two.
*
So that means, we have to use minimal equipment to watch our BDs, like watching it on a 15' CRT tv without fan or air cond or even the lights on. laugh.gif

The critics said that PCM sounded better than TruHD wor so I dunno lor, I watched it with PCM. Actually, why they put these tracks pulak, overlapping lah. Put PCM 7.1 lagi baik lah. Waste the space aje.

I guess it should be priced around USD12.99 like some Lionsgate titles but Fox titles are never cheap especially on BD.

Yeah, that's the only Dolby TrueHD that the bitrate reaches 10Mbps. Neve even seen a DTS-HD MA track that reach that high bitrate.
*
Technically, is DTS-HD MA suppose to sound better than Dolby TrueHD regardless of bitrate due to different method used in the audio codec.
