I want that. Also Everybody Loves Raymond. But already own them on DVD. Somehow I'm feeling it's good enough on DVD. Maybe I'll wait for reviews first if they ever release on BD.

No tax. Yeah, no "DILEPASKAN" stamp. Actually I rarely get that stamp on my boxes before.

bro aiman, how come u can get there will be blood too? mine still belum ship,  amazon double standard la  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

In my original order made Sunday morning, I forgot to include There Will Be Blood. Then I make a separate order to combine, but somehow it was not allowed. Then I cancel everything and re-order again.

Few hours later, even though it was just one single order, it was processed and shipped the next day from 2 different centers, one in Arizona and one in Oklahoma, That's why I received 2 separate boxes. I guess that's how they were able to get all my titles I think. wink.gif

Preview Report:

Cloverfield
PQ: Like a digital camera, but very detailed and realistic colours. 4/5
AQ: Prepare for deep, deep LFE right from the opening logo. 4.5/5

There Will Be Blood
PQ: Like a well-preserved movie made in 1980s. 3.5/5
AQ: Not much action, not much music, almost no surround. It's accurate to the movie, so can't complain. Dialog is clear. 3/5

Bee Movie
PQ: Wow! 5/5
AQ: Very good, surrounds useful. 4/5

Hairspray
PQ: Bright, colourful, but bitrate is surprisingly low, never reaches 20Mbps. 4/5
AQ: Musical, so lively, nt so much like those concert BDs, but adequate. 4.5/5

Saawariya
PQ: Almost every scene shot at night or interior, but blacks never crushed, with vivid colours. 4/5
AQ: In my preview, didn't catch any songs or sound heavy scene. 4/5

Short Circuit
PQ: Very 1980s, lack of depth, uneven colours. Still better than the DVD though. 2.5/5
AQ: Sorry to say, the worse DTS-HD MA to my ears yet, bitrate never reach 3Mbps. 2.5/5

Shinobi
PQ: Not too colourful as I expected, but accurate fleshtones and fine detailed. 4/5
AQ: Somehow the sound effects felt too artificial to me, but really great use of 6.1 channels during fight scenes. 4/5

Twister
PQ: I expected it to be much better, uneven colours, fleshtones sometimes too red, but better than the DVD of course. Oh yes, the tornadoes look kinda fake now. 3/5
AQ: Kinda raw to me, not as detailed as I hoped from a lossless track. But still give you the thrill of being around a tornado. Significant upgrade from the DVD. 4/5

Signs
PQ: Very significant improvement from the DVD, but I kept thinking it could've been better. The dark is not looking great sometimes. 3.7/5
AQ: The sound on the DVD was one of my favorite, and now it's even better with a lot of detail, the wind blowing at night while Mel look for the intruder at night really creepy. 4.5/5

That's it for now, got few more to test. Remember, this is just from a brief previews of the BDs.

i just shot myself with a $630usd worth of blurays at amazon.. used the premium courrier mail.. say itll reach here on the 10-12th .. hopefully customs dont hold it too long.. why do they hold it ar?? customs office there got bluray player is it???

is it they enjoy our movies first then when puas baru lepas kan to us?? lol

/ps demm aimann. i wanted to get that bee movie but sold out !! sell to me when u dunwan it anymore thxxxx
*
Those that were held by the customs very long before being "dilepaskan" are only for standard shipping that values lower than RM500. They won't tax it, but they just hold it. But that also depends, if those officers in good mood, they won't hold it too long.

If you use priority (i.e. DHL), there will be no question of holding your package. It's either immediately "dilepaskan", or they will call you to pay tax.

Good luck for your shipment bro!

Bee Movie also out-of-stock ar? I thought only Cloverfield. Looks like demands for blu-ray is sky-rocketing, even world's biggest online store can't catch up! rclxms.gif

I've been reading reviews saying that too. That's why I'm holding off. But yes, Predator was one of my favorite. One of the best movies from the governor. biggrin.gif

Paramount Admits Blu-ray's Superiority.

"Because of Blu-ray's expanded capacity, we are able to elevate the bit rate used for the picture as well as present uncompressed audio in the form of Dolby True HD," said Rob Moore, vice chairman of Paramount Pictures.

don't know why leh? I'm unlucky penguin i guess, xbox 360 also kong liau yesterday while playing Ninja Gaiden 2 sad.gif

changing len are cheaper indeed just thinking using PS3 as a blu player is just not solid enough.. so have to wait more time for better and reasonable price player...

PCM 7.1 is support, but not in DTS MA 7.1, wonder why? hmm.gif

btw, PCM 7.1 War and 3:10 to yuma blew me away far far away smile.gif

i still got few tittle with 7.1 pcm which i haven try yet, i think i like PCM better than DTS MA. *in the moment* wink.gif

waiting for rambo hee hee.. coming this week hopefully without any problem.. sweat.gif
*
It's the way they map the channels for 7.1. There are about 3 different configurations that DTS applies to their 7.1 setup. If you display info, your PS3 will still show 7.1, only not properly mapped to your receiver.

Sony may release firmware fix, or may not, as this only affects few titles.
