mine hanged at the loading screen today morning, scared the living hell out of me since I am over 50% done with the game.
I prayed hard and went for a soft reset and after that works just fine.

50%... so fast... try backing up your save files just in case

For driving I prefer Classic

wat is ur psn id?

My game just hanged after accessing the multiplayer features of GTA4.I had to soft reset my PS3 everytime by holding down the on/off button. Basically, I bring up my handphone in GTA, select multiplayer, login successfully to the PSN and it returns me to the normal screen, after one second or selecting another button in the handphone multiplayer menu, my game hangs. The background radio sound is playing but nothing is responsive.
Using a JPN PS3 set and Region 2 game.

Is there anything I can do?

its common. till rockstar can come outwit a patch.. thy're working round the clock. we can only hope it gets better..
