though several times i've gotten the "connection lost to one or more players" error, that was pre-patch though
haven't tried with the new patch yet

as far as I know, NOPE. Not for game updates. As sucky as streamyx is it has held up somewhat with my experience. Do the necessary ping tests to streamyx server, if the ping is more than 80-100 ms, then u have a bad setup. You have the right to call them and make a report. They should fix it up on their side.

Check your router wireless signal as well. Make sure it is more tha 80% signal strength. The problem could be on your end, not streamyx.

you lucky man. my place bangsar sometimes streamyx slow to a crawl. and then 10 hours later only can get better internet. i try next time, but don't want to risk hanging or whatever crap because of stupid internet.

Does your game still freezes? The patch is to fix freezes NOT making the connection into games better.



In this quote, I do know that they touch about Gamespy being the server but read carefully, it states nothing about fixing the online issue = unable to join games. This patch is mainly to fix lock up = freezing.

Yes actually the connection isnt any better. In fact it was slightly worse after update!
