for me,viva la vida is like a whole new way to express an art.from the album cover, the album sleeve and all the songs inside.its like a gallery full of art.this is the 2nd album of the year after portishead's third.

and why oh why until june we can only hear best albums of the year..

If only they can re-master or re-create new materials from their original musics on the album A Rush Of Blood To The Head, like Politik, A Rush Of Blood To The Head or God Put A Smile On Your Face.

It would be a blast from the past. Their new musics are too promising, they've shown hope which is practically not there, and give away empty messages. Hopefully if there's another album from them in the future, it should be something like AROBTTH.

the first time i heard viva la vida, i felt like, 'ok, im gonna buy this album!'. the song is nice to listen, especially when driving biggrin.gif
overall, i like the album.

but, did u guys heard about the controversy? there's 2 song similar with viva la vida, one by joe satriani and the other one from a small band name creaky boards. CB claim that chris martin ripp off their song. here's the link

creaky boards vs coldplay

here's a song from the legendary JOE SATRIANI biggrin.gif listen until 00:50, sounds very similar to viva la vida

satriani - if i could fly

anyway, IMO all 3 songs are great.

you talking bout the Plagiarism thing?

i still dont think that coldplay copied portions of anybody's music. they did the song on their own

but i still have to say that this new album does bear a lot of resemblance to arcade fire. and chris martin have stated before that they love arcade fire. chris martin was seen in a lot of arcade fire shows before too.
