i wana upgrade my garmin to 4.20
do i nid to uninstall the old version first?
i find in ahem sites..diff site diff instructions
some nid to uninstall first..some dont

My phone crystal casing Crystal casing is nt as good as silicon. But silicon is damn ugly.. will upload pic of my 82 with silicon casing.

one thing i dun like about crystal casing..a lot of dust collects inside the casing after a long time
then hv to open the casing n clean it. open a lot of times will break the casing if not careful or the quality of the casing is bad

yes..quality of the crystal casing is nt good. Easy crack..top part of the casing already started to have cracks..i think this casing will last for 1 month+ only..or less

it shud be dropping. hehe... nvm.. n82 will stay with me for quite some time.

There's no need to uninstall at all. Just install the 4.20.00 over the old one.

Had crystal casing on my previous phone, had to change one every few months. The tabs just break too easily despite being careful.

had it on since the day i bought the phone..suprisingly the casing lasted until i stopped using it which is about 2 and a half years
hahaha 1 out of 4 clips had broke..a lot of scars on it..haha

Where to get the Home Media? I only found Media in the phone.

It's the phone home media he was refering to, but you use wireless network @WiFi to transfer files.

Well you can google for garmin mobile xt. As for the maps, I may have to send you a PM later on.

My Nokia Maps navigator is a male voice.
I think quite good and better than my garmin xt woman voice.

charge for 4 hours..last 1 day wif 2 bars left..without any activity
not even call or sms
nid to tahan 3 more weeks to change batt

N82 is almost perfect smartphone on the market!!!
with TITLE OF BEST CAMERA PHONE OF THE YEAR, 2008, integrated GPS, wifi, HSDPA, radio, music and movie phone, motion sensor etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc....

and a lots more if u know where to find all the symbian & java software



except for a tiny flaw... u wont get enuf power to run this monster

my suggestion
1) charge everyday ~ if u r going to change new battery every 2years - no harm charge everyday
2) buy car/travel charger
3) buy notebook charger
4) wait for nano litium battery ~ quite impossible
5) wait for other nokia phone with more powerful battery ~ more amp, good
6) wait for FP2 ~ have to depend on nokia mood to update this

so u confirm your battery really "kaput"?
why need to wait 3 weeks?
