nope... FYI all voltage in msia is the same one la...
i suggest you charge again to confirm it is battery problem, or charger problem, or firmware problem
and check disk also... coz my phone power consumption very high is there is file corrupt
*
Yes, M'sia electric voltage standard is 240V 50Hz. However, it does fluctuate from 230-250V, and sometimes go down until 220V and below. That's where brownout (not blackout) occurs.

Maybe lucaswjk is right, try using the charger and battery at other places, it might be faulty.

Hi all ...

Some enquiries on Garmin Mobile X

Normally i search for places using --> Hotel,Food etc etc , then Spell

any other alternate way ? I tried Addresses and others it doesnt work. Keep no result.

How if I wanna search more specific place like road name? Eg SS2/10 , SS15/1, SS15/10 ... its all in the map already ...

It works on mine. That spell name works perfect on mine. And I don't think there are any other methods to use besides those two input methods.

Try search the full string, e.g. "SS15/1" (without the double quotes).
If no results, reduce the string to "SS15". There might be hundreds of streets in SS15, but I think the system and common sense can narrow it down easily.

Please note these is difference with SS15 (@Subang Jaya) and Section 15 (@Shah Alam)
Another example is SS17 (@SJ) and Section 17 (@PJ).

GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) is a navigation tool a.k.a SatNav(Satellite Navigation) It is able to help you get around by using the use of satellites which then convert the signals to visual and audio instructions (if it comes installed with the software) If you have the N82, Nokia Maps is a form of GPS. It comes standard witht he phone and does not require installation (with the exception of upgrades or additional maps). There are also other aftermarket Navigation softwares which you can add on to your phone PROVIDED it has GPS BUILT-IN. If you don't have it built-in, you need an external bluetooth receiver to connect it with the phone or you can just get a standalone GPS unit whithout having to use the phone. As for specific charges, it all depends on what type of software that you are using. Some require one time charges and some don't.

Hope this helps.

Get the all in one map as I think you've downloaded them separately which in the end needs to be renamed as gmapsupp.img, gmapsupp2.img and gmapsupp3.img. The all in one only shows gmapsupp.img

GMXT in N82 auto-rotate screen, it black-out, but still has voice. I have to press red button (cancel call), switch off and on again, before the whole phone hangs.

What version GMXT are you using? I have disabled the auto-screen rotate function as I have found it to be quite irritating at times.. too sensitive. slight movement triggers it to rotate.
