there's still around 4-5 bars of batt left
then i go charge it
after about an hour, i took unplug it coz i nid to go out
then my batt left 1 bar
restarted it, then full bar
anybody experienced this??
wat's the prob? firmware? im holding a blackie tho

how long it takes for u guys phone to charge from 1 bar to full bar ?

mine usually around 2 hrs.. kinda short isnt it ? @@

Hi all,

Noobie for the N82 and hope to get some advice here.

1st issue:
Some SMSes I received only display phone numbers but not the names. I have saved the names but why still showing the numbers? I remember Motorola has some great feature that when a new contact send SMS, the sender's name will be updated on the SMS after I save the name in the contact. Instantly So kinda upset why this is happening here.

2nd issue:
Can't find the memory card within PC Suite. Is there a way to browse both phone memory and card memory?

3rd issue:
More a question. Want to use N82 as the PDA. Is there any suggestions if I can sync all my contacts and schedules/calender to the PC? What's the best applications?

1 - I had tat before also, it doesn't update the SMS phone number even I've added to the contact list.

2 - When u connect to the PC, u choose PC Suite u should be able to access both phone and card memory in the Windows Explorer. There is a N82 icon. BTW, I'm using NSeries PC Suite.

3 - PC Suite should have a PC Sync function, though I never try it should be able to sync ur data to ur PC.

on issue 1:
it's due to symbian limitation. each sms received is saved into a file including all the current contact detail. if the contact info not available, it will just saved it with the sender's number.

afaik, motorola has sms limit but not on nokia, so motorola sms database is smaller and easier to manage. so there's pros and cons of having limitless sms storage VS limited sms storage

on issue 2:
connect to pc via storage mode instead of pc suite mode

on issue 3:
install PC suite (i assume u already have it), sync to MS Outlook

I have 2 problem:

1.) Don't know why, i can't pair my n82 with hp jabra bt160 bluetooth? cause last time my n73 can pair with this bluetooth device.

2.) I can't sync my n82 to pc (ms outlook 2003) using pc suite? Can any one give me a solution about synchronisation setting? cause last time my n73 also can sync to pc with no problem.

Where i can get the map?

regarding ques 3, if u using vista, u can use windows contacts. i've used tat way to sync all my contacts to and from PC. schedules and calender im not sure coz im not tat a bz man..i dun nid to do all those

halohai...me newbie here...just got my n82 around 3 month..

heard my fiend saying that it was have a new update at nokia website there.so,i going to update my firmware...but after that....teribble thing coming out...i totaly cannot view in chinese word...even going to internet to browse chinese website also cannot see anything...is that any idea to solve that problem?hope that here got sifu or taikor that can helping me..hehe...tqtq..
