It seem that it would get better by today arvo but Sydney and some cities in NSW are still experiencing showers.
Just be careful & enjoy your time

Meriton Service Apartment Campbell St, I paid about RM600 a night. Maybe you can try Meriton Service Apartment in other locations.

In general accommodation prices in Australia is much more expensive than Europe because I notice this also when I was searching for accommodation for my upcoming Europe trip compared to next year trip to Perth

Hello sifus, I'm going to Sydney next week and will be there for 2 full days and 2 half days, after that going to melb.

for the 2 half days i'm planning to stay at city sighting, as for the 2 full days, I'm planning to go to either blue mountain and another full day city tour.

I'm planning to take public transport in the city. So is there a way to rent a car for just one day? And will our old driving license be usable in Sydney (the ones which are plastic laminated). Thanks notworthy.gif

Personally, I think blue mountain is over-hyped. Really nothing much, you might want to google images before you decide to go there. Considering we come with a country with taller and better mountains… blue mountain is the most forgettable place I’ve ever visited in Australia.

Yes you can rent the car for one day.

Yes, your laminated driving license is usable. You don’t need international driving license or whatever.

Yes wise choice.. I managed to cover 4 of the attractions and decided to skip Manly Sea Life due to time constraint.

The 1st 3 attractions are actually located on the same site. Just sharing different entrances. Thereafter just short walk to Sydney Tpwer which is ~600M walk away
