Will be going alone to melbourne on 20th may from perth. thinking about spending a week or so there going around (ie. great ocrean road, philip island etc). that's why need more people to share cause if possible, will try to rent a car. then can share the cost. tongue.gif after that it'll be sydney. havent really thought what i'll be doing there yet but definately not just stayin in the city.

Hey all, i'll be heading to Australia for about a month in June/July. I'll be spending about 2 weeks in Melbourne, a week in Sydney, a single day in Canberra and a few days in Brisbane/Gold Coast....

Any suggestions as to MUST SEE tourist spots? Hang out bars? Good places to eat...and what's cheap in Australia other than chocolates?

I'll also probably need to find a good backpackers place to stay in Gold Coast and Brisbane....any good ones?

Will appreciate any suggestions...especially with regards to Melbourne. Thanks!

Not for Malaysians, the electronic visa comes together with your ticket

Yeah, the opera house is a must along with the China town. There's like a china town in every country i go to.
Fish Market? Uhhhh, fish market?? Really....? hmm.gif

And yup, no need to apply for a visa.
