just wanna share expirience at Meriton Service Apartment Zetland, Sydney..

Stayed there for one night...very satisfy with their hospitality... apart from slow check in process... the one bedroom really worth the money... i booked through booking.com at 96AUD per night for stay 17 jun to 18 jun 2014 (weekday)...

minus point, 15 minutes walk to nearest train station (Green Square)... but when reach at the station, most of sydney's attraction are accessible...

bus station only 6 minutes walk..

got myself higher floor unit... less noise... in room facilities are perfect... big fridge, LCD TV, comfortable queen bed, washing machine for laundry, iron & iron board & open air balcony overlooking Royal Randwick Racecouse & kensington neighborhood...

That is cheap because i paid like AUD160/night when i booked a studio at their Campbell St location. The location was super convenient and the room plus facilities was excellent. I was also given a high floor, 34th floor to be exact but my view was just buildings

You could get an Amaysim sim card from most convenience stores (7/11), or supermarket (Coles, Woolworths). 2AUD for a sim card and 9.90AUD for a 1gb data pack for 30 days or 19.90AUD for 2.5gb for 30 days.

Good luck and safe travels.

Usually it will make the necessary setting changes for you, but if it doesn't change your APN to "yesinternet”.

Alternatively you could just pop into a post office close to you and buy a pocket wifi modem with 3gb data (vodafone). Australia post (post office) have a special on a Pocket wifi modem which includes 3gb data (lasts 30 days) for 19AUD (link). This deal goes until 24 December. This pocket wifi modem can connect up to 10 devices concurrently.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Should be doable. I have only did the Adelaide to Melbourne drive. I guess this tip is applicable for all road trips, don't fit in too much in one day cause at times you might want to spend longer in one stop. Have multiple driver if possible.
Anyway, MAS is having promo now. The return ticket is abt RM1500 when I get for May dates

Hi, if I got transit time of 7 hours 45 minutes in Sydney Airport (Fly in from New Zealand, fly out to Singapore), is it advisable to leave the airport to have a short tour in the city? Also, as a Malaysian, do I need to apply for Visa?

Thanks.

You will need visa in order to enter Australia. What time does your flight arrived in Sydney airport? At times, it can take about 2 hours to clear custom and immigration so by the time u go out, you maybe have abt 2 hours plus before you need to be back in airport to clear immigration and custom again.
You can reach the city through the train and it would take you abt 15 to 20 mins but the ticket will cost you abt AUD20 if not mistaken

Hi, my flight will reached Sydney at around 8:20AM and will departure at 2:05PM. Will that time will be peak? And is the application for Transit Visa easy? I've looked through the website that Transit Visa is sufficient for me as long as I don't stay in Aussie for more than 72 hours.
