that 06 twin pack Pajero police car + Ohara snow tiger...is selling at RM19-90 ....no discounts !

I just started my Tomica collection in 2 months ago....(my first was the Megacruiser patrol car)....now I got around 50pcs++

my star collections are:
1) coca cola truck (got it from maxim)
2) pikachu car
3) Hummer h2
4) Mini cooper
5) toyota crown hong kong taxi
6) swift rally cup(got 5 pcs)
7) NSX (gor 4pcs)
8) nissan fairlady z racing type (got 5pcs)

I don't mind to trade or sell my extras such as NSX, Swift Rally Cup, or Nissan fairlady Z racing type...with Civic Typre R,
Hummer, Nissan X-trail, Evo X, Police motorbike...

well....just got back from Penang this evening (trip back to hometown)...very tired...

I found that not many places in Penang sell Tomica....the only placethat I managed to find
Tomica was TRU at Queensbay Mall Penang.... it is not available in jusco, Parkson(gurney)...or
TRU Gurney in penang...funny ?? that TRU Queensbay Mall also don't have the usual display cabinet
for Tomica....

after asking the sales assistant,,, he opened a glass cabinet...with lots of different
stuff inside...and show me the Tomica stock left....looks like LT never really service
the Penang region properly...

after thoroughly ransacking the cabinets...I only managed to find 4 items that I want !



here is what I managed to get...after searching hi & lo...in penang......

I quite like the Pajero paintwork... highly detailed...and the Honda Little Cub
also looks cool !

after throrughly korek the TRU cabinet at queensbay mall penang....saw only 1 Japan GT
series left...is a Nissan calsonic fairlady z....so straight away sapu lah...
but is quite expensive at RM14.90

my first GT series...

hope to get more rare tomica in future...preferably military type vehickes... my JSDF from HK haven't arrive yet..
is about RM20 each car

Looks like the fuel price increase does not affect TOMICA fans....

LT should organise a TOMICA warehouse sales ....for the fans...

saw quite an number of 63 furukawa wheel loader and 39 magnet shovel at TRU

saw a vintage Bus in Limited edition pack...(yellow colour bus) together with the toyota levin, lexus gs300, orange colour old skyline
(all in limited edition pack)...in Jusco RM16.90....

TODAY, my pre-price increase haul at Jusco...

after price increase on normal tomica, limited edition (RM16.90) and disney (RM14.60) priced will only
be slightly higher than the normal tomica (RM12.90)... ???? ?
(still buy 3 limited edition in case stock finish )


at one of the Jusco...the LT fellow already put the new RM12.90 sticker...

the sales assistant got to assist me to explain to the cashier that tomica is still rm7.90 with 20% discount !
the LT people so free to put up new pricing so fast...but come to re-stocking...so slow...
some more all old stocks !

non-tomica haul today... went to TRU at parkson putrajaya... but damn...no tomica there


so past by toy city, just go in and have a look,

and these old stock japanese tanks...1:76 scale...caught my eyes
the turret can turn....i guess is old stock...leftover

only got 2 types left...thinking of forming a Batallion of Armour/mechanised army division
(with JSDF... )

after discounts 20%, is RM2x.xx each...quite good quality

also saw the 1:144 cando. brand of tanks...too small to my liking...but is very detailed
RM19.90 each

hi Loon.... i saw both the RX8 patrol car and Fairlady patrol car at Jusco
balakong...but just bought 2 rx8 patrol car...i got one fairlady patrol
car previously (don't like the red interior, and the quality)...so left the
fairlady patrol car... is still there...

today went to TRU & JJ, to do final sapu....but nothing much interest me... so ended
up with a Limited edition Honda City II and 2 fast lane VW Bettles...

find that those limited edition got better quality... so a green Toyota Corolla Leven...don't know
whether want to get it or not...

thanks for the advise...I realised it after come back home...cause I bought a yellow Bug from Tesco before...
and is from Realtoy...and Fastlane made by Realtoy too.... !!!

any idea whether Limited Edition Tomica price will go up ? or still maintain at Rm16.90...

I feel that RM12.90 for a regular tomica is too much for us a collector.... at RM7.90 is already difficult
to sell in Malaysia...cause not many collectors locally.... (maybe later can find those car cheap cheap
at ware house sales.....noticed certain models not so popular including toyota dB, Honda Element,
Honda AirWave, Subaru R1, etc....) got so many left over stocks...

IF regular RM12.90 and limited 16.90 , I prefer the limited edition....better quality...

just bought a transperant box today from IKEA to keep my all TOMICA haul since I started to collect about
2-3 months ago... looks like I may seal up the box ! and stop collecting tomica...
is too expensive...for a small car...

and the picture of my favourite TOMICA diecast that I managed to haul so far.....
