Thank you all for the wonderful additions to the guide section.
Edit : Made a terrible blunder. G900 and G700 Mods doesn't require system hack! Sorry!

Changes :

1. Added master index, please use Ctrl-F to find your wanted Guide. Too many guides, so have to sort them out.

First, tag them in Winamp or Media Player. Tag means open the file properties and select album art. Specify a picture.

Here is how I do it,
1. Rename the picture you want as an album art as folder.jpg.
2. Then create a folder (album name or artist), put the Mp3 inside, and then put the picture in.
3. Remember to tag it first

Use the M3 Video converter on the Software section, then got selection on the program. Select W950 and High Quality. Turns out nice. Can even convert FLV

No, until now we have access to the protected drives and no one has found a way to mod the acoustics driver (sound), not entirely volume only. Work is in progress for the sound and camera (imagine modded camera drivers! ) modifications. Godspeed to those brilliant modders!

The MBM file is the original one after you install Iphonelock? Should have a few bitmap files inside that when you open using MBMTool. Once you copy the original to your PC, you just change the "000" numbered image to your desired one. Then save. Overwrite the original with the modified one on your phone memory.

Don't open from your phone memory. Copy the skin.mbm to your PC then only you edit. Try that. Hope it helps

Don't give a sh!t about that Windows Error. Just drag it aside. You can still use M3. I installed on 3 PCs and all 3 showed error. Then I thought, why don't just drag aside and use M3. It works!

By creating a folder in D:\Resource\ZBLIB, then adding the menu bar icons inside. Will do a full guide on this, if anyone wants to do a guide PM me.

Your 'hang' is which type of hang? Basically there is two types

1. Hang/Slow-mo : Slow switching of applications and doesn't respond as fast as normal

P1i has 128MB of RAM and 208Mhz processor, although this number might seem small, the UIQ3 OS is very efficient in running multiple tasks at once. I ran (R9K009 firmware) Walkman 3.0, WiFi, and Opera at the same time Fring (the AIM). But sucks my battery as hell, no slow downs.

2. Hang/Jam : Totally no response from the phone

I only had this problem 3 times. First time I was running Youtube watching 'Crazy Indian Video by Buffalax' when a call came in, jammed straight-away. But when I ask my friend to call again, running Youtube again, nothing happened. Usually when your phone is on for quite a long time (like say 2-3 weeks) you might need to restart the phone when the hiccups occur.


On no basis should a P1i jam 2-4 times in a short period (1 day), if it does its either firmware or hardware related. Check with your vendor

Goto m.youtube.com using Opera. From there can run youtube already.

Its a bug for IPhoneLock 0.5. kwull will try to rectify this on the next update. But still its a nice app.

I think you haven't create separate accounts for WAP (3G) and WiFi.

1. Goto Internet Accounts > New Group > Name it as Wifi
2. Set your DefaultWifiAccount to Wifi group (put it inside,moving it from the original group)
3. Set your 3G WAP into Internet group
4. Finally just put any Wifi connection to the Wifi group.

You can also set Wifi group as your preferred group

I don't think its possible, since PUSH emails other stuff goes into Phone Mem and its all in Messaging.

P1i only handles 802.11b WiFi tech. If the router is running on G only mode then it sucks oh so big time. Sometimes even when running mixed b/g , some brands of router don't work well with P1i. But still hey you got that 3G connection as backup

Oh no . UIQ !! Don't give up on our UIQ 4 project ! I want to have UIQ 4 on my P1i ( or the next gen of P series)

I seriously think 4GB M2 is an overkill. I am now using 2GB, and i got around 100+ songs only and I got no time to listen to them often. A friend of mine who has this 2GB Mem Pro Duo II has around 500 songs and he says more than enough. He justs put them in for the sake of backing up.

It won't, if you want your messaging menu to be loaded faster, open it and don't end it. Same goes to your contacts.

Did you install the pyserial python application? All three must be installed then restart PC. Try to explain the steps that you took so we could help you sort out the problem.

Yes it is. MS Office 2007 is the most "out-of-place" version of Office I'd ever used. The interface changed into some horrible hellish nightmare. Any previous versions of MS Office (XP,2002,2003 .. etc) won't be able to read it, let alone our UIQ word processors.
