QUOTE(mr_habuk @ Jun 19 2008, 08:48 AM) @Mr_Habukbefore this u asking differences when using other trfc rite?? i show u this every sec that u reduce need in using the high vdimm..every sub timing depending on each other.. example, when u use 195ns(previous said by me) it yield: the bandwidth: [attachmentid=503300] the SPI 1m : 28.532s [attachmentid=503298] when u use 75ns( required more vdimm, depend on what situation) it yield: the bandwidth: [attachmentid=503299] the SPI 1m : 28.391s [attachmentid=503297] usually when oc u need to loose all the timing to make sure the ram have not much burden on it. the difference in time (FYI, i run a SPI again and again to find the best time when changing the trfc) just a little but in other word it represent the vdimm. but in my case i dun need any vdimm changes. in oc tries, it is better to loosen all timing to make sure it can use the low vdimm u feed to them.. besides that, the bandwidth have a bit differences.. so ask urself what to use and when to use.. the most important thing the MAL, trfc and 5 timing that u need to care in beginning of not an extreme oc, after u got the skill how to tweak it even better, u can play the other subtiming.. oc divide by two categories ( it's applied to me ) - extreme (trial) -other sub timing need to care for better result - daily usage.. -only what i edi say at above.. just my 2 cent.. correct me if i'm wrong |

QUOTE(8tvt @ Jun 20 2008, 09:24 AM) for me i would sacrifice a little performance rather than skyhigh voltage.. yap, we wont notice any different, the software tell u the different, in real life it doesnt matter..so the tips for that, make it more loose without decrease much performance.. (we won't notice the different actually..) as we need to understand the needs of our hardware... thus we should care about their limitation and prolong the life span.. i'm a EE (Energy Efficiency) Overclocker.. lol.. if u success to oc 25% from stock, it alredi good achievement.. QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Jun 20 2008, 10:17 AM) tat why u need to lend for me .. then i can test kaw2..haha |

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Jun 26 2008, 02:39 PM) bro, there's no point for me to test d max for each core as i'll be runnin d chip w/ 4 cores enabled 24/7. if i want it ya way, i should have bought bro habuk's b3, save me lotsa time & efforts... me orang tue = less patience... mine aint a be mate, plain 9600 only... will try my best to break d 2.6GHz barrier but my patience is runnin out ledi, that explain why i'm havin bad mood lately (after i get d chip)... |
